I was 16.4 seconds to getting my prediction right of it being a 5-3 BC Win and it ended up being 6-4.

Lots of stuff about this one but one thing that stands out to me is that Chris Porter certainly didn't look like the captain of UND out there. He took bad penalties and really didn't set a good example.

Also what happened on Ronney's empty netter? 6 on 4 and Boyle gets the puck out and Rooney outskates BOTH North Dakota D to get the puck for an easy empty netter. Someone explain how that happened.

So the title game is set with two very opposite teams going at it. I'll give BC the edge though with there speed.

So it appears that with the BC win, something big could of happened. I will be waiting for the official announcement from Blue Breeze but.....

When I saw the Sioux D-Brian Lee get beat to a loose puck with 6-4 in the last minute of the game only to have BC get their 2nd empty net goal, I came to realization the Sioux didn't deserve to win. The refs looked like they were calling a district 6 Pee Wee game! Hockey is a physical game guys but the Sioux should have known after the first period that they were going to call anything close and should have backed off a bit.

Oh well, the WCHA wins it just about every year so it will be nice to see another conference win.
