Why are there 2 classes for boys HS Hockey?
What would it take if anything to go back to a one class system and
maybe a 16 team tournament with one champion?
Just a brief explanation would be great.

A number of years ago our schools asked the Board of Directors to
conduct the hockey tournament in two classes and the Board agreed to do
so. Schools have not entertained other format suggestions in times
past. >end
So that's your answer... the schools have to want to, and they don't, so it won't happen.
And don't say but why? now
