Top rink hands down is the Ralph, best atmosphere goes to (UND,SCSU, and Wisconsin) crowds are always into it no matter who the opponent is.

If I had to rank based on order of the one's I have been to, I would say:

1- Kohl Center, You've gotta love the sieve chant
2- Mariucci, However, the below-capacity crowds this year are making me upset
3- National Hockey Center, I will be experiencing a Gopher-Husky game there this year, and I couldn't be more excited
4- DECC, rarely full, the student section is weak at best, and half of the place is elderly people.
5- Altell Center, it is Mankato, and it has been weak every time I have gone to a game there

National Hockey Center in St. Cloud- not a huge amount of seating but the crowd really gets into the game, went there for a game vs. the Gophers last year and it was insane. Fans are great, and ive played on the ice which is pretty good as well.

They get hyped for the Gophers every year but that is not a good example to use. You could say the same thing about any team that hosts the Gophers. That's like saying you saw a Stanley Cup playoff game once and then make the assumption that NHL games in general must be that intense.

The last few years under Craig Dahl, SCSU's crowd support was weak. Even this year, I have a few friends that have attended some games there that have said the crowd intensity has been inconsistent and not very good at times.

Nothing beats a SCSU U of M game at the National Hockey Center. No matter what the score is the fans are always on their feet and cheering. I don't know too many goalies who would like playing in that.

I disagree, i'd say UND has the best atmosphere.

SCSU is a really enjoyable place. As they stay consistent in winning the atmosphere will continue to get better not just when they are against the U of M.

Bemidji is fun with the benches seperated by the low walls of the penalty box.
