Many people aren't giving the seniors from Roseau enough credit when they say they lost nothing. Weston, Voll Carr and company provided tons of leadership for the young team. Weston was huge in the playoffs scoring the only goal in the section finals and leading the team in scoring in the State tournament.

Oh and Ness is the best player in the state IMO

Recent scores and look for Aaron Ness in the CC and Air Force (audited by 5th Line Center) games to name a few.

Do your homework!

Maybe you should edit it one more time and be more clear.

Very true, but all of the young guys from last years team should be that much better this year. there were some very solid seniors lost from that team, but they were basically role players. Weston and Carr were both very good though. Tough to replace, but I think they'll find kids to fill those holes. Ness and Weston will need some help on that blue line and i'm not quite sure where that will come from until i see them play.

I didn't know I needed to hold your hand... My point was to look at any Box Score of those two games and see that he was participating in them. On collegehockeystats.net it is pretty easy to figure out.

Or for breakout:

http://collegehockeystats.net/0708/boxes/mafau181.o13

Clear enough?

I am guessing by his charming personality that it must be lonely by his bar stool at the Roseau VFW

Nice Statement!
You must be a fourth line grinder whose sole job is to skate wide open and bang bodies. I'd bet you don't have much of a clue of what everyone else on the ice is trying to accomplish, especially Ness.

Ness gets my preseason vote as the States best player.

What do you want Ness to do? Rush the puck end to end all game?! Sure Aaron could do that...and probably bury it in the twine a few times... He'd get more exercise--he'd get more tired! Actually, it would be kinda fun to see him do that more often... However, if he can accomplish the same thing by hitting an open teammate, he will hit the open teammate.

Hockey is a team game. Ness--like every other good hockey player--is most effective when he uses his teammates. He believes in his teammates and he is always back there on the blueline backing them up. He sees the ice very well and makes good decisions--usually he hits the tape on the open man's stick. Every once in a while Ness will sneak into the slot unnoticed by the defenders, catch a pass, and bury the puck in the back of the net.

THis link mentions that Ness was running the show from the blueline on the most dominant team at the NIT elite league tourney. Another reason why he gets my vote.

Aaron Ness is not only currently the best player in HS. Im also willing to bet a hefty sum that he will be an extremly successful player for the gophers in the years to come
