well up north lets see...
Roseau
grand rapids
east grand forks
i have no idea if any of these teams fit in the top tweenty. i'm also sure theirs more teams than that who could fit the bill up north. i cant form an opinion with nothing to compare to.. roseau playes grand rapids at the end of the month that should help some depending on who gr will have played to that point. roseau also playes hibbing. i do know that i wouldnt come on the board and ratel off 10 northern teams as my top ten even on a guess but i see people down south do it year in and year out it shouldnt bother me that most think hockey ends once you leave the suburbs. we really like the lack of respect it makes it feel that much better when the mighty fall.

Unless I read this wrong, your #2 got drilled 5-1 by a lowly Metro team.
Lots of love for the Northern teams, at least from you.
No Elk River anywhere? I don't know how they've done in other games, but they took Edina 4-2 in the opener. They must be pretty good.

This is all just getting too funny.
Elk River is 2-3 on the season.
Yup beat Edina, but also lost to White Bear, Maple Grove and Eden Prairie. Their other win was Vs Rogers 6-1.
Elk River is a solid team, but maybe just borderline top 20 right now.

Warroad - umm nope, they have to win a game before they get rated.
Alex - see newest version
Greenway - are tehy A level??
Willmar - way too far south and west to rank.
Little Falls - sure.

Elliott, those are the most fluid ratings I've ever seen. No games played today and you have already changed them a few times.
By the end of the day will Sartell show up?

Sartell, home of my friend Pat Forte. Former Eveleth HS hockey great, and now a great elementary teacher and survivor of a major illness. And the basis for the central character in my new novel, 'Life Without Hockey'.
Coached quite a few baseball games there, also.
Sure, why not.

Elloitt,
White Bear Lake must have a great team to be ranked both 2nd and 15th.

We appreciate that you took the time to read our very informative, factual and valuable rankings.
As to White Bear Lake, one never knows which team will show for any particualr game. At times they play like a #2 ranked team, but then, being 11 & 12 year-olds, they can play like a #15 team. Once they 'come together' we will be able to rank them in one spot. Assuming they are still a rankable team. But from what we know, White Bear Lake is pretty rank.
And by we I mean me.

Thanks again elliott.
I like that logic

it's still impressive to have em in there twice, i'm mean even when they don't show up they're still a top 20 team that's sweet!

4th line you have Jefferson rated # 1 can I ask why? Laso if rankings are supposed to be accurate, wouldnt Coon Rapids be #1 since they beat Jefferson? Laos sounds like Wayzata and Edina are loaded as well. Just a thought out loud that Jefferson needs to beat a few other teams before they get that type of credit. THey are playing Duluth Easdt, hermantown, and Cloquet this weekend so we will see what type of team this is. Also they play AV in a D6 game very soon which should be a good test as well for the Baby Blues.

Although True shouldnt this be in the high school fourm. Last time i checked how a high school team did the prior year had no effect on the PW@s

4- you missed the boat on that one. we were talking about the people down south having no respect for the northern teams when there making their all metro top 10. yet every year the north has teams that should be mentioned.
