Undercover, you are probably right about fashion. I have noticed that the top hockey coaches are also the most fashionable. You can even see that in pro sports. That coach in New England will probably end up on the cover of GQ.

Yes, the Hockey coaches at the top levels usually are some of the best dressed in all of sport. Take a look at the Wild Coach always dressed to the nine's. Even Ken Hitchcock and Pat Burns have it figured out. Better yet take a look at Mr. Cherry next Saturday night always a great tie and a good haircut. Belicheck is the exception to the rule.

Laura could have taken a few lessons from Ms. Miller from the Duluth area. But I suppose when your built like an old gym teacher; what the heck, might as well look like one too!!

The reason I digress is that it's Let's Play Hockeys Rankings...and they usually are good old boy's patting their buddies on the back.

Grapes is in a class by himself; by far the most entertaining character in hockey. And the majority of his opinions are right on the mark. Regarding LPH, most people around girls hockey know that their poll is pretty much meaningless. Those folks along with the mainstream media have no clue regarding the top players or top teams.

Going back to the Farmington comment. Shakopee is also listed in Class A, but they too are in AA this year.

I grew up watching Grapes...he is incredible. The way he dresses is a little interesting though.

About the polls...they are a little iffy right now, but we can only hope that they get more accurate as the season goes on. Regardless, there is always one team that is looked over that ends up shocking everyone. The season preview that the star trib puts out has a little bit more of a look into leaving and returning players, how different do you think that will be?

The Minneapolis Novas beat Totino-Grace in pre-season scrimmages today. Eagan is quite a team- watch for them to do well this season.

Nice to see Irondale slip in at #16, plus Roseau at #9 in A.
