Couple cheap shots here and there. I really can't wait to here the excuses from the hill fans on this forum....
From both sides, or just one in particular?

Tartan fans. They didn't impress me with how they were acting and there early cheers.

What "cheers" could possibly be that bad to hurt any ones feelings?
Sieve, sieve, sieve?
Over rated clap clap - clap clap clap?
It was Hill players that were acting more Tartanesque on the ice with cheap shots, roughing, and poor sportsmanship. Hill had 5 penalties and Tartan 2
The coaches were arguing with the refs who IMO made correct calls and could have made more against Hill.

Hey just thought of something
With Tartan going undefeated the rest of the way, and
with Hill's only second loss of the season coming up at Aldrich against Tartan
I believe Tartan takes the #1 seed at sections time because of the wins over Hill .
It could happen. A third contest for State

I wasn't saying the players. As i said before the Hill players were throwing some cheap shots and not playing there game. I just stood above the Tartan fans and some of what they were saying didn't impress me.

Yeah the Overrated chant was a bit premature. But, guys you notice something weird...There are NO Tartan players on here boasting or talking trash. That is certainly a nice change. And, guys like PPG giving props to Tartan. Maybe we should wait until Round 2 before making any conclusions about this so called rivalry (on Tartans part anyhow)

Another reason why losses aren't rare early on in the season:
December 10: Hill-Murray 11, Park (Cottage Grove) 0
December 15: Park (Cottage Grove) 4, WBL 3
As the season goes on, we'll get a better look....

Tartan = Titans
Titans = Greek Gods
Greek Gods = Achillies (n. A seemingly small but actually crucial weakness)
Achillies Heel = weak spot
Tartan is Hill Murrays Achillies heel!

And the mighty Peon eers will make it 17 straight years without a title

not to trash lechner to much but with the teams he has had in the past and how he always seems to lose a game like this every year and then some of his chokes in the tournament I think his time as a head coach at a powerhouse school like Hil-Murray should be coming to an end soon..

Especially since his son has graduated.

I gotta believe Morinville from the Spuds might be looking for a new job soon. His team has never won a title with all that talent & now he can't seem to beat a tiny little program to even get to state. I think he might be interested in coaching a small powerhouse program that gets to state frequently & has a few state titles. Can't wait to see the Spuds record after the Schwan's Cup.

Anybody else notice how all the HM hockey fans on this board shy away from this thread now?
The oh so invincible might green team falls to its knees and angels begin singing in harmony proclaiming something like this.... OVERRATED!!!

Hill is vastly overrated! Please tell the upcoming teams, we could use the over confidence.

I'm hoping to see the Spuds in a couple weeks....they should be feeling pretty confident given their solid start to the season.

We have a big game with White Bear next week. You remember them, don't you? That's right, you lost to them...a team that got beat last night by Park...a team we beat 11-0. And yet, you feel confident taking shots at us??

No, never had the pleasure of beating up on lowly WBL.

You think he's talking about Moorhead? Is this why you're confused?

Are you saying you are not a fan of the Spuds? If not, which program do you support...and please, no comments about the shape of my head, my self esteem struggle with it.
