Richfield 2

Good game. Richfield was without a couple of players that they could have used. If the team was all there, Richfield wins.

Cole Gunner is a one-man recking machine, total talent.

Final:

Anoka 4

Maple Grove 1

Blair Randall of Anoka opens the scoring with his first varsity goal in the 2nd period

John O'Neill scores from Brandon Derks to make it 2-0 to close the 2nd period.

In the third period, Cory Belisle and O'Neill dominate a short-handed shift, capped by O'Neill scoring from Belisle to make it 3-0.

Isaac Sinz scores for MG to make it 3-1.

JD Wells made some big saves for Anoka through-out the game, including a huge glove save on a 2-1 break with less than 2 minutes to play, preserving Anoka's 3-1 lead.

O'Neill completes his Hat Trick by scoring an EN goal, assisted by Belisle.

Per Star Tribune:
Edina 8, Chaska 2

I was at the Hill-Murray - North St. Paul game tonight. Lots of fun for an 11-3 game. HM was up 3-0 after 1. North scored the first 3 goals in the 2nd to tie it 3-3. It fired up both squads. HM dominated the rest of the way scoring 4 in the remainder of the 2nd and 4 in the 3rd. Lots of chipiness and other fun nonsense. HM has lots of talent and are dangerous shorthanded. They had 3 shorties tonight.

Unlike football, I'm pretty sure you can't "decline" the penalty. Pity...

Red Wing - 7
Roch JM - 0

(posted already, but im just confirming it because they said it could be wrong..)

4 goals in the first, JM switched goalies in the middle of the 2nd, they didnt hit double digit shots until more than halfway through the 3rd. The more interesting part of the game was the Roch fan wearing socks with his crocs.. hmm.
