Wow, this sounds like it would have been a good one to go check out. Was it as thrilling as the score looks?

5 -2 Maple Grove over Centennial with 4:30 left. Strand was pulled after a brutal night. Centennial doesnt have the talent to play with no heart and it showed tonight. No Joe Schmitz? Great effort from Maple Grove, hats off to them.

Maple Grove at Centennial

After 1st Period
Centennial 1 Maple Grove 0

After 2nd Period
Centennial 2 Maple Grove 1

Final
Maple Grove 5 Centennial 3

Shots on Goal
Centennial 24 Maple Grove 23

Centennial Scoring
#9 Tyler Pitlick - 2 Goals (1 SH), (1 PP) 1 Assist
#20 Jake Larsen - 1 Goal, 1 Assist
#15 Willie Hess - 1 Assist
#17 Jordan Lovick - 1 Assist

Maple Grove Scoring
#17 Matthew Dee - 2 Goals (1 PP), 1 Assist
#9 Eric Umland - 1 Goal (PP)
#16 Cody House - 1 Goal
# 18 Joshua Gross - 1 Goal, 2 Assists
# 19 Thomas Malone - 1 Assist
#24 Rick Norenberg - 1 Assist
#3 Wally Cossette - 1 Assist

Tyler Pitlick scored his first goal short handed on a break away as time ran out in the first period. Maple Grove scored 3 goals in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd period. Centennial Goalie Tyler Strand was pulled. In my opinion, those 3 goals should have been easy saves. He made some great saves in the first period!
