Undercover Hockey Lover wrote:According to the Geodent site that ranks the HS players by grade and class Zach Lehrke is the 15th ranked senior forward in Class A. Those are scouts creating those rankings not PR fans. Now take into consideration the guys ahead of him in that list then take a look at the class AA list and you get the picture....Top fifteen Class A forward GOOD but not Great. Now go back to the porch.

Here you go take a look for yourself...they've been pretty accurate and consistent since they started this...these guys do a pretty good job.

http://www.geocities.com/dent0110 Then go to Players and pick the list you want to look at.
hahaha...can't believe you actually put stock in those rankings, i thought you had a little hockey knowledge, just figured you weren't going to give in and admit he is a great player.

but, since you brought up those rediculous rankings, i will bring up the elite league stats again.

p.s. i think he's human..

on that geocities website on the D1 commits list it says Jake Hendrickson committed to Wisc. I thought Barnes committed there and Hendrickson to UMD. Is the website wrong or am I wrong?

The Geocities website is wrong in this case...Jake Hendrickson is committed to UMD, as noted on the Chris Heisenberg website. :D

The geocites is riddled with mistakes. Anyone that takes that as gospel is mistaken.

Sure it's riddled with mistakes just like their rankings BUT...it's better than the PR "athletic supporters" analysis when it comes to their GOD so that was the point being made. The order may not be totally right but for the most part they have the right players on it.

Heard today PR's Superstar has taken the ACT at least three times with a high score 3 to 4 less than his age...you figure it out.
Chill dude.... Hope PR wins 8A then you can really get excited.
Roseau had at least two players like that played in the NHL. One curent (Chicago Blackhawks via Canada route) and one former star. Very few are good in all facets of life.

So maybe Lehrke has to play in Canada rather than the WCHA to try achieve his dream. It's not an all bad route to make alot of $ and have fun doing it. Them's the brakes. 8)

Fargo, As a Warrior Alum I'd think you'd get tired of the constant din from the Peanut Gallery. Chill Dude? It's just the constant hype and shameless plugging I have a real problem with. For this kid to be mentioned as The Best Player in the STATE is just plain wrong when you have the likes of Ness, Budish and many others that are plain better. The other part is we have people coming on here and flat lying about...oh, he not injuried and oh there's no problem with this or that and lo and behold..the fact is there's an injury or a problem with this or that. Remember the MORE you HYPE someone the more scrutiny is placed on that person and just maybe that person and their family don't want that type of publicity. I believe lots of people THINK they are doing this kid a big favor; all they are doing is putting a bigger target on his back both on and off the ice. Tell me this...why is the publicity Ness is getting all on the positive side and the stuff for this other player isn't all peachy. I'll tell you why Ness IS the best player in the state and people know it; while this other kid isn't and his fan club are trying to make that claim. Stuff like that usually turns people off....I guess that's why I'm turned off; great player or not. :?

Suzy...three out of four are good picks..the third one down would struggle to make Roseau's second line or Edina's third line....when are you going to stop with the shameless plugs for your buddies brother.

Struggle to make Roseau's or Edina's 2nd or 3rd lines  He outscored every player on their FIRST lines this fall in the Elite League, so sorry friend but you are WRONG, you can be upset with the people that plug him on here but don't kid yourself about where he is compared to the other top players in the state. After all it was your teams head coach who said after watching him this fall there was no doubt in his mind that Zach could play for any college in the country. (Just to be crystal clear that is the same guy that coaches Ness, Lee and Landman)

After watching him play last week, I can confidently say Jake Gardiner is the best and most dominant player I've seen in the state.

I agree... When I watched him play against Cloquet earlier this season, he was a step ahead of everyone on the ice.

and yet you still use it as one of ur main sources....because some HS scouts have him 15th in A......You should know better than that....I dont think ONE person this year has said HE IS the best player in the state.....he has been on a list for best players...which is VERY accurate....this time its not just the "gallery"....maybe u shouldnt even post anymore about Lehrke...by the looks of it...you get QUITE worked up
