prediction- WBL-4 CDH-2
They must not have been too focused in their 5-0 loss to Roseville the other night.

And lost to Park.
Focus is not this team's forte, and they have Woodbury right after this game - better not be looking ahead... catch them on the right night, and they're easy pickin'.
They won't overlook a team like CDH to a team like Woodbury. The games against CDH and Woodbury are equally important. They should come out strong after a poor performance against Roseville.

White Bear should know better to overlook any teams.

Haven't looked at Cretin's schedule today, but after that comment, I hope the Raiders beat White Bear worse than Roseville did.

the first time or WB played roseville or the second cause people sure do forget that the series is tied 1-1

That formula hasn't seem to work against another private school (HM).

i'll admit sometimes it does get hard to beat teams that steal talent from all over the state.. any comments on what you think is harder to produce talent or to recruit?!?

Hey, here's an idea: look at Cretin's schedule before you comment.

Here's an idea for you and your beloved Bears' hockey team - - take teams more seriously next time you play or you just might face another five goal whitewashing. Or better yet, lose to somebody like Park again.

It's just like your beloved Bears haven't beaten any real good teams this year either. Sure they beat Duluth East, Moorhead and Holy Angels, however, those three teams are certainly not as strong as they have been the last few years.
At least Cretin was able to beat Park quite easily last week.
If things keep going as they have in the past two sectional playoffs, White Bear will probably lose for a third time this season to Hill-Murray. Only this time, it just might happen before the finals.

still haven't named one
even though WB hasn't beaten all the good teams they have played, thats part of the reason their record isn't as great cause they have to deal with hill and cloquet and roseville the very next game.
what's CDH's reason for their record?

For one thing, they lost a lot of good players from last years team.

Just for the record. Other than Colette, the Bears played pretty well against Park out shooting them by a 2 to 1 margin and hit at least 2 pipes. Josh Stewart stood on his head and was the reason Park won. It happens. Against Roseville (At Aldrich) they came out flat, gave up a couple of soft goals, and stunk up the ice the first 2 periods.
If Hansen and Johnson stick around for the Senior season the Bears would be a top 10 team.

I think the bigger battle is trying to keep talent. We don't need to recruit when kids leave programs like WB's. Why would a kid want to play at public school (say White Bear) when you can go to a different school (say HM) and beat a White Bear over & over & go to the state tournament? White Bear's program is a joke. Explain to me why they don't dominate with the youth program they have? Just sit back & enjoy your "home grown" talent & keep watching the HM fans leave the arena with smiles on their faces.
By the way "rookie", welcome the the "bored".

One reason is their head coach.

You do realize that your talking about the last 2 or 3 years as over and over again. If you could do me a favor and explain to me why Hill doesn't dominate with their youth program. o wait, they don't have one. they take kids from other programs to build their team. And if i really wanted to pay all that money to go to a private school i could but i'll take devolped talent over stolen talent any day..

what's CDH's reason for their record?
Part of the reason for the record is the have played STA twice and BSM once which are two really strong teams this year
