thats all bville has besides perisic. all those other teams have more than 3 good players. that other guy bville has playing with barnes and hendrickson (comstock i think it is?) could barely crack 3rd line at ep, rosemount, or bj.
Thats sad that you think Comstock couldnt make 3rd line. Didnt he just get a hatty against one of the best teams in the confrence... or didnt he? Theres obviuosly must be some talent there.

Actually the Brainerd Hockey Team is doing well this year. They beat Rosemount, the team that is currently leading the Lake... Not sure where you were going with that one?
The rest of your post doesn't make any sense either. The top 5 teams in the Lake are split up between 3 sections... Do you mean that it's too bad that so many quality teams play in the same CONFERENCE? Also, this whole time I've never said anything about the teams in the conference being weak at all, I just said it doesn't matter if you win the best conference in the state. Ask the winner of the Lake if they'd rather go to state or win the conference, not one of them will say win the conference.
Go back to scaring little kids boogeyman.
You're right! I meant to say too bad there's so many good teams in the Lake.
When I asked how Brainerd was doing this year. I meant how's Brainerd doing this year. No need to look any deeper. Take a deep breath.....
GRAF, you seriously need to get off your knees and stop sucking off the players from burnsville. you're basing you're opinions of this burnsville team from last year that made an outstanding run in state. I think it's time for you to wake up and realize that this isn't the same team as last year.
Im pretty sure every player is coming back in the next week for burnsville and i can see them surprising quite a few teams. mcduff, Ames, Sturlaugson, Gustavson are back. Watch out For the blaze.
Jefferson also is not done winning
you are right, Burnville is a very good team. I think they have a serious weekness, and that is their lack of depth. However, its not like they are just a one line team. Burnsville has the top line the in the lake, with its second doing its job, and a great goaltender. They match up well against teams like Jefferson and Rosemount where Jefferson's Defense is not yet seasoned enough to deal with that veteran line and Rosemount is a one man defense.
Burnsville will continue to win, DO NOT rule them out. As for the Jags, they too are not done winning. They lost some key roadgames, but remember they have very young players that are just getting settled in to being away. This is the team that BEAT GFRR and almost beat ROSEAU. Jefferson in my opinion is probably the best team in the lake WHEN THEY COME TOGETHER (their varsity inexperience can show a good ammount of the time). If Herbert (their second best forward) returns for sections, they might be able to turn some heads if Edina doesn't destroy them first.

First..Burnsville does not have the best line in the lake. They are a close second behind the line of Rosemount's Brown-Percy-Porter, Even Eastviews first line of Maloney-Larson-Perry are close. But i'd have to say it is for sure Rosemount's.
Second..Jefferson is not the best team in the Lake. Even if they all "came together" they still wouldnt be the best, they would be at the top, but not the best. O'Donnell is the offense for the Jags and they really dont have any defense now that Lombambard(sp?) moved to forward. I'd give that nod to EP or Rosemount as they are overall better (as we saw in the game tuesday night).

I think Ep maybe the best team in the conference at the moment and I'd love to see rosemount and Ep play again...cuz rosemount has the fowards and EP has the D...B'ville can never be counted out because of what they did last year and the Jags are definitely talented but they have proved they can be good....the last few games showed that they lack a little experience come crunch time in the lake, the older guys need to step up for them a little more and the finish in the lake will be the best of any conference this year

With that schedule for the upcoming Lake games, I'm saying all the top dogs get away with a win.

That Rosemount line is not the best, I stand behind what I said there. The Jefferson statement is arguable, I think you can make a valid arguement on that. EP I feel is a top notch team in the lake, and Eastview would be my second pick. Rosemount however, nononononononono.

o yah no way that line is the best since they have a total of
109 points between the 3 of them (brown 45, Percy 34, and porter 30) they cant be good since that eastview line doesnt hav one guy a head of anyone on the rosemount line and tommy odonnell is the only jefferson guy who is ahead of anyone on the rosemount line in points with one more than porter with 30...

Rosemount may have the most points for a line but does the rest of the team produce? EP has depth, Burnsville although many dont think so, has depth. Jefferson has 2-3 lines of good depeth. Even Eastview has nice depth.

-Rosemount will win they where down going into the 3rd earlier with AV this year but they are playing well right now.
-Eden Prairie wins easy.
-Burnsville should win, LN has not been playing well.
-Jefferson gets back on track with a W

They play on 2/5 on FSN.

Prob one of the most untrue things I have heard. How many points your line has does not make you a better team. I say EV has more depth than Rosemount, but thats my opinion. Jefferson has good depth with some solid sophomores.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Stev16 makes a good arguement too.
Depth is everything in hockey. Teams can do good with one line, and Rosemount has shown that thus far. On the flip side, they cannot be a TOP team with both depth, spots of exceptional talent, and experience. This is why elite programs tend to continue to win. Rosemount has spots of exceptional talent, and are my pick in the lake for experience. What is super important in highschool is depth, and its not there.
As for the top line, there is no way you are gonna convince me that BPP are better than the Hendrickson and Barnes line, ITS JUST NOT TRUE ASK A SCOUT (I have being as my old man is one).

what are the goals against....better yet, +/- for b-villes, Ep's, and Rosemount's 2nd and 3rd lines comparitively?

The only thing I disagree with is the EV and Jefferson having more depth than Rosemount. Rosemount has beaten both of these teams getting scoring from more than just the first line. As long as the other lines dont get scored on as often, thats fine and this is what is happening at Rosemount. The 2nd and 3rd lines arn't getting scored on as much which makes it easier to win hockey games because they are obviously scoring (81 GF) which is leading the Lake.
As for Burnsvilles line being "better", see Burnsvilles first line has
2 good players..Rosemounts
3, that is what a
LINE is, not
2 but
3 solid players. Burnsville doesnt have
3 solid players, they have
2 solid players and 1 average to below average player.
And obviously if rosemount is winning games and might I add against good teams, how can anyone be putting them down? They have already beaten EV in EV's(well AV's) rink without two of their top defenseman in Mcmanus and Carlson, I would say that the Irish had to resort to their "Depth" as in the EV-Jefferson game the bolts were without Finehage and Friedman and lost...this is just what im looking at.

Rbkhockey21,
Stev16 is right!
The first Rosemount/Eastview game was decided by the refs in OT. 5 on 5 Eastview wins that game or at worst ties. The Bloomington game was a complete give away with 4 seconds left in OT in Bloomington's barn another tie at worst. Eastview has beaten EP and Minnetonka and very easily could have stole one at Edina. If they stay out of the box down the stretch no one can play with them.

Maybe you don't remember this game, but I do believe that rosemount was up 4-2, then with around 3 minutes left, the refs made 2 calls against rosemount to give Eastview a 5 on 3. So, without those penealties, Rosemount wins the game in regulation 4-2.

Looks like your information here was a little fuzzy..whatitdobaby is exactly right. 5-5 Rosemount actually would have won 4-1 as Finehages goal if im correct was on the powerplay. Thanks though!

you'd have to take out rosemount's powerplay goals as well if you look at it that way., but you could still leave the shorty in there. 5-5 Rosemount wins the game 3-1
