I'd say buy from someone off the street. I've been going to Thursday's Class A games and I go outside between each period to find tickets. You will easily find someone willing to sell you tickets. The prices on the street seemed to rise a little bit last year though. Best place to go is the corner where all those streets meet together. If you have the cash buying from a scalper is better then waiting in line. By the way is scalping legal now in Minnesota? Would that maybe bring the prices of tickets up?

I haven't had any problems getting tickets to any games. I showed up about an hour before the championship game and got a ticket. The seats weren't that great, but if you're willing to look around downstairs you'll find a few empty seats. I wound up watching the 2nd and 3rd periods about halfway back behind the penalty boxes.

The AA games, especially after the first round will probably sell out eventually. The tickets are for sessions of two games, so even for the championship tickets actually go on sale an hour before the third place game, so there are tickets available for hours before the championship starts.
