I was debating whether I wanted to be a prognosticator or not, by the time I figured I did, it wouldn't be fair if I included that game. I would have taken WBL, but in a lower scoring game...3-2 something like that. Lenz usually doesn't give up more than 3 goals.

Hansonbrother, welcome aboard! You have a slight handicap by starting a little late (at zero points) but one or two correct scores should put you right in the thick of things.

You're right. I said CEC wins 3-2 and they won 4-2. So I just missed it thanks to the empty netter.
Duluth 3
PHM 2
I'll take the point again, but again I miss the correct score by one total goal.

I have you down for 5 points total including Monday. You appear to have picked all of the winners correctly so far. Once we have the Hibbing-Silver Bay score I'll post a recap of where everyone stands.

Not to rain on the guru's parade but he (Boblee) picked blaine. Centennial won 5-1 final. So not 100% correct.

Looks like Centennial's goalie Cassie Carpenter was an important factor. The shots were pretty even but she stopped 21 out of 22. Blaine played two goalies and together they made 19 saves on 24 shots.
Also noticed that Silver Bay outshot Hibbing, Proctor outshot Duluth, Crookston outshot Warroad and Eagan outshot Cloquet, yet all of these teams came up short on the scoreboard. Goaltending can make all the difference in these evenly matched games.

pacman, welcome and thanks for your picks for the rest of this week's games. Please invite your MsPacman to play also.
Updated QRF's for the next two nights are:
Thursday, January 24
Duluth (10AA) vs. Cloquet (11AA)
Burnsville (25AA) vs. Eastview (24AA)
(According to QRF, these two are about as close as you're going to get, but most here seem to be favoring Burnsville)
Friday, January 25
Breck (3A) vs. Grand Rapids/Greenway (2AA)
(So far only ice29 is predicting an upset)
Picks still outstanding for the above games:
pondhockey
boblee
