Did anyone inform either team that hockey's a winter sport?

In order for DL to win, they need a big game from Lane, like a hat trick, so thats why the call. Plus, someone has to pick DL because anything is possible if kids dig deep and pull together.

The night before the last cold blast, PR called school 2 hours late when all the area schools went on as normal so it comes as no surprise.

I hear you ache. I had no problem taking my 9 year old to U10 practice at 6:00 in DL, so I have no idea why Park Rapids had an issue. It gets a little chilly with a little breeze and all of a sudden people act like they've never seen cold weather before.

And yes, it was a Park Rapids issue. School was not closed early in DL today.

Why do DL people care?
Why was this thread started then?
I'd be nice if DL wins the game but would like to see PR take Section 8.

I think the real issue in cancelling the game was that the buses burn diesel fuel and I've been told that diesel gels at -40 below temps, and wind chill was projected to drop to the -40's that evening, by the time of the return trip home. ( This is much different than 6PM temps-with gasoline-or even diesel at 6PM)

PR fans. Listen to yourselves.....play the games,if you win that is fine, good for you. When you get through sections you can post all you want and if you win state you can post anything you want 24/7 but until than you are just another team. Last I checked all teams in the section are practicing, they havnt handed the title to you yet.

OK Mullet. I will leave the rest up to you. I will just assume you know more about the game than me....it's all yours.

I would have to go with DL on this one. Goalie is playing tough by the looks of it and Park seems to not be playing that well.

You would think after last night....they know now they CANT come out 1/2 speed and always expect to come back from down 3 in the first. If DL's goalie is hot and PR doesnt come out hard it may be a tough game for PR...a big win for PR would be nice

Well said. There has been way too much PR talk. Win a few games against ranked teams and then we might be interested.
