If Urich sticks to his system, Buonomo will start. For BSM, I wouldn't be suprised to see Shibrowski in net. 2 fast squads on an olympic sheet, should be fun. On saturday, both these teams made a lot of costly turnovers in their own end, (even the D1 players.) Last year, after BSM throttled Tonka, there was a skirmish in the hallway. This year, Tonka won by 1 but 2 BSM goals were waved off late. This game, then Edina Burnsville? NICE!

Tonka should win here. I give Benilde a chance to win given their senior leadership is probably equal to Tonka. You win with your senior leadership, but I think Tonka has the better goalie., Unlike EP, they should have started Stypula or made a change when their goalie couldn't keep them in this game.

The battle of the two Edina slayers, this could be one of the best playoff games of the season, (championship is not always garenteed to have the best teams, look at the last couple years). Two top 5 teams battle it out, wish I could be there, I'll say Tonka by 1

Minnetonka also had a goal disallowed in that game, nearly identical situation to the first one that went against BSM.

Jacob Meyers will get the start in net for the Red Knights. The talented sophomore shut down both Edina and Shattuck this season all while flying under the radar. He will get the respect he deserves with a win over Tonka. I'll take BSM 3-1.

You got to go for Tonka the public school. Private schools are almost wiped out of the AA brackets go Tonka.

Great game we have on our hands here! A match up of two top 5 teams that have already duked it out earlier this year, in a result that ended in Tonkas favor, in what was, for the most part, a great game. Benilde will be seeking revenge on a game that was basically ruined by refs, as both teams were screwed with dissallowed goals, both of benildes coming in the last 30 seconds of the game. With that being said i think Minnetonka has a slight edge in the depth department, and after seeing both teams play saturday i like Tonkas edge in Goaltending as well, if the same kid plays for Benilde. Both teams have great first lines and leadership. Its going to come down to who comes out and puts the most pressure on early. I like the skippers to get back to state with another 4-3 victory. Look for the big time players to step up in this game though, (Gardiner, Coatta, Giel, Raiola and Hansen for Tonka, and Appelhof, Zierke, Bergland, and Student for Benilde) Should be a great one to watch, cant wait to see how it plays out.

anyone mention how its kind of ironic that the year Pauly leaves to go back to BSM they meet in the section finals. that being said, i think Tonka will win 4-2

this game should be interesting. filled with alot of emotions (mtka playing their old coach) and also having a close game last time. Meyer will get the start for bsm and bonomo for mtka. I think 4-1 will be the score in favor of the skippers. they are a very fast team with solid goalkeeping

I'm thinking upset here. *(mild upset) Meyers stands on his head and BSM gets outshot but wins 4-3.

If Titonka squeezes this one off, I'll take as far as state champs.
Should be a good game.

Meyers is the best and has proved it all year. BSM has to aggressively
forecheck the soft defense on MTKA. MTKA has to crash the net. Should be a good one.

Easy Das Condor don't get your skipper knickers in a knot. That is great you have 2 D1 defenseman on your skipper team. They still don't like the corners. When I have been at their games. neither of these 2 have played well offensively & disastrous defensively. Tell me how many times they have stood up for their goalie when he has been crashed into. or gone into their own corners first.etc.etc...This is only my opinion. Good luck Das Condor & try to relax a little.

easy there i didnt freak out, i just was wondering why you thought tonka had soft defense (which seemed to me like you were saying tonka's D were bad)

All Good. Actually I really think Nate Jensen is the underrated D on that team.
He plays his position extremely well. He doesn't need all the glory.

They have stood up for their goalie 11 times and gone into their own corners first 472 times

Look for sophmore Jake Rossman to score at least two for Minnetonka.
From what I've heard this kid shouldnt've even made the team.
from what i have seen, i still don't know this is.
Hey Wingmaster since you are so funny, try to explain what you meant by this quote.??????????????
