I would much rather listen to Woog's Drunken Slurrsss then have to sit through two hours of Lou talking up all the metro teams it makes me want to vomit.

Woog is horrible! Every once in awhile he'll make a decent point, but half the time he has no idea what's going.
Housley is just plain bad.
Darby is actually pretty good.
Nanne seems better this year than he has in the past.
Get Mike Greenlay & Dan Terhaar.

God no, that would make me tune out. I think we get enough of them on the gopher broadcasts, which are usually best watched with the volume muted. I can only handle so much of the gopher love fest and horrible analysis.slapnasty wrote:and add frank mazzaco w/ woog and it would be great

You have to be kidding me Woog is by far the worst announcer I have ever listen to. Did you not watch the series with Alaska when Woog and Frank were in Minneapolis announcing the game, I love hockey and the Gophers but I had to shut the tv off I could not take it. This is the worst pair of announcers I have ever listened to.

Lou Nanne should be fired after the roseau game...he talked about no one else except for arron ness...ness is a great player...but roseau has other players that deserve some of that praise.

I have to agree with the others with Housley.......He is terrible, Him and his Lingo's........
His "Johnnie on the Spot" every 2 minutes gets annoying.......just shut up and go coach another .500 hockey club
Looks like going from High School to the pro's didn't help out ole housley.......
Phil My advice..........Communication Studies 101...........its a public speaking course...........also maybe visit Brown College for a broadcasting degree......
