I didn't hear anything good from them the whole game.

The student sections should be unified in each corner of the X. It is ridiculous to stick them in the upper deck. I think that's part of the reason the atmosphere seems so quiet.

How many sections do the students have in the upper deck? How many sections are reserved for each fan base?

are you serious? i think most people would agree that STA has one of the best student sections. sausage fest? grow up please. the uniforms look great and it shows a lot of pride in the school and the JROTC program, plus its really unique.

and by the way, the Star Tribune voted the STA student section the best in the entire tournament for the uniforms, creativity in between periods, and how classy they were.

While they couldn't match Edina's size, I felt as though the Pioneer crowd did have some nice chants and showed good support throughout the games. My hats off to them!

STA was impressive. Edina's turnout for the final was also very impressive, though the didn't have much to cheer about. I was very disappointed with the Hill attendance. I know it's not a big school, but come on. They were nearly drowned out by 210 and 211 above them. Considering how many people were there, the X was pretty quiet when Hill won. I'd guess about 2,000 Hill fans total.

BSM were the best fans in the tourney. My friends and I got down with them before the Championship and were having a lot of fun. NAU song, their scoreboard chant, and proving they were better than EDINA and Roseau, both on the ice, even with the loss I think BSM was the better team, and definitely in the stands. I still don't get the McNuggets chant though.

I enjoyed the Edina fans. Before the game all the students stood up and sang Happy Birthday to someone named Joe. They did the Marco.....Polo thing between the upper and lower student sections. The best one though was toward the end of the game when they were chanting to the Hill-Murray kids "We wanna fight you"

It is a total shame that the kids are so spread out. If they can't get them together in the the lower bowl, they should at least attempt to put their upper level sections near each other.

I had great fun during the tourney watching this green jacket security guard trying to keep the 2nd game students out of the vacated lower level student section. Mr. Green jacket was a man on a mission and NO BODY was going to get past him!

The security guards at the X were very considerate of us moving down. I forgot the names but there were 2 great guys who were also cheering for HM. I thought we HM were loud, but being in the middle of the student section does that. 210/212/216/and 206 need some new cheers, they were very uncreative. Come up with something new, i dont mind the chanting but if its the same every year, and every game, it gets old.

BSM fans were great, it was nice of them to help out HM. There werent many of them, but they were very enthusiastic.

I'm pretty sure the Happy Birthday singing was to Connor Gaarder, who's birthday was Saturday

206 didnt have its main leaders for friday and saturday, only thursday. We were good on thursday, we combined with 216 for friday, and we combined with 210/11 on saturday for the championship game. 206 is and will always be the best.

You must be jealous because you were larger in numbers, and you couldnt compete. And we didnt do anything this year. Like I have stated, we didnt have our ringleaders for friday and saturday. And with 15 pigs, ushers, and security guards watching us non-stop, it was pretty hard, but we managed and it was alright.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I'd love to see that one. I had a group of Edina kids start yelling and cursing at me as I walked by them. When I stopped and asked if they'd like to come over here and say that to me, they said no you can hear us fine from here and turned and ran away. Keep in mind this was probably and 8 on 1 in favor of them. Thats why everyone hates you, Edina.

Agreed I think the uniforms look sharp and I also think that the all male voice chants sound much better than the shrill screams of teenage girls
I thought St. Thomas fan section was what high school hockey should be all about. Why not wear the uniforms to the games, every other school tries to wear there school colors and mascots, well they are the cadets its like having 400 mascots. There Psycho chant was great. Also, they had the whole place into what i must say was the most impressive wave I have ever seen. :P

as far as STA goes, crowd surf the other way. Guys dont have to be grabbing you there, it just adds to the classification
