This year might be a little rough though. We lost our pitching staff.

I saw their bantam team in regionals and they had a kid (#17) that looked well beyond his years. I thought he would have been one of the better players on any of the D6 teams.

His dad has moved on to be the head womens fastpitch coach at Hamline. That probably has something to do with Joe leaving Harding. Good luck to Joe during his USA NTDP tryout. Johnson will be down a little next year but the Tri-Metro will be a good fit for them. At least they now have a home again.

There are decent teams besides Breck and Blake in the Tri-Metro, but Johnson will be just fine. Como will also be joining the conference this Fall as a side note.

That's the loophole in the transfer rule.

IDK :?
It's not really a loophole, he's doing exactly what the rule states you can, transfer to the new school and attend there, and maintain VARSITY eligibility in the old school and play there, thus fulfilling the one year period of VARSITY athletic ineligibility at the new school.
