I think the kids do need to be congratulated! Hard work and dedication is shown. Same with the coaches.

What I don't get is who really cares how much money the parents are spending. They probably have 2nd mortgages on their homes and who cares if they don't?!!

Also, why would the Wisconsin Fire be doing ANYTHING to help Minnesota Hockey. Minnesota Youth Hockey should be doing something to help themselves and leave it to people to do what they want.

About time somebody sets that pinhead goinbardown straight.

I was beginning to think people actually agreed with his stunningly stupid ideas.

why is everyone on this board for club hockey?

I would be all for the WI Fire we we didn't play association hockey in MN and WI.
I think that a even better memory would be to play with a group of kids that you go to school with and winning a state championship at peewees, bantams or HS. I bet that memory goes a lot farther than winning some AAA tournament with some kids who you could really care less about.

O So now its about the kids' memories instead of how they help MN hockey?

Make up your mind or end your rant.

We just wanted to give credit to a few kids who won some games. Heaven forbid we let the kids have a good time.

I coach a rosemount team but i see no reason why we cant give kids credit for winning a tournament.

And what does that have to do with you being such a whiner?

My kid wouldn't EVER play for the Fire.

I'm also willing that you'd be a little bit bitter toward the kids that didn't come back

Unfortunately for you, I'm a bit more mature than to be bitter to a 10 year old kid.

Sheesh grow up.

You can't get mad at a 10 year old.

It's the parents making the decision.

Apparently your team is perfect in every aspect. Even all the parents are perfectly committed and you never have a kid miss a practice especially for something stupid

I dont have the kids sign a contract... they can go play somewhere else if they dont like what im doing. If a kid doesnt like the way things are, I would rather they play somewhere else.

Not sure where you get that everyone is for club hockey.....? :?

Are you serious about that last statement, that these kids could care less about their team mates? I know some of my kids best friends are the kids he plays with on non association teams. I maybe off base on that because as we know all kids on an association team like each other.

Is your kid closer friends with the people from school or AAA?

It doesnt matter, why cant you just congratulate the team that won and stop whining?

If I look at my kids 10 best friends 3-4 are from his association hockey team, 3-4 are from non association hockey and the other 2 are from his baseball team.

Not many 10 year olds have 1 best friend, they have best friends! One week it's Tommy, next it's Billy and then it's Jimmy.

Sorry that they all left your North squad for the Fire but what if they all moved, still going to be upset at the parents?

Ignore him... he just likes to whine about anything and everything. His goal is to never give credit to something that he himself isnt involved with.

There is a difference between moving and just leaving cause you think your to good.

I'm willing to say that everyone goes there because they feel in someway that they are to good for your association.
