Looks like he had 4 assists last year on Varsity, so it doesn't look like he's to productive.

jepsen is one of those kids who would stand out his senior year, he has played on multiple AAA teams not to mention played in the super series and i will guarantee that he will absolutely tear it apart in JGA and will not only be the leader scorer in the league but he will lead his team to the state championship... Ha! You crack me up. EP always tries to hype themselves up every year. I can't remember the last time they won a state title in JGA!

why dont we let this weekend pass and then we can see the true talent of these teams. alot of good games this weekend it should be a good indicator of who really is the best team

remember when I was talking about EP avoiding playing Wayzata, well good they just lost 2-1 in triple overtime. Glad EP likes to talk themselves up.

How'd the other first round games turn out? Who plays who on the winners side tomorrow? Couldn't make it out to the rink tonight.

OK, the top bracket was tough to call. Four very good teams. Watertown should have no problem with Duluth today, and then win the championship over the winner of the game between Edina and Wayzata. Hard to beat top tier Jr Gold A teams from South Dakota.

Thank you for clearly showing your from Watertown.
What was the score of their first game? I'm guessing they handled them pretty well, from what your saying about them...

I'm not from Watertown. WTN won over WBL 4-3 last night. I don't expect the game with Duluth to be close. I'll go with 6-1. Championship game between WTN and either Edina or Wayzata should be close. Feel Watertown has too much fire-power on offense.

If he was from Watertown I don't think he would know anything about EP "avoiding" Wayzata.
Either way, I will be able to make it to the Watertown-Duluth game today and we will see if Watertown is as good as he says.
Watertown?

By the way, Watertown had no fire power on offense. Edina just simply out played them. Edina held WT to 3 shots in the first period, 8 in the second and I forget how many in the 3rd. Edina was clearly the better team, with a lot more depth.

Wasn't too hard for Edina.

I was at the tournament this weekend getting an early look of the top teams and top players and here in a short summary is what i came up with... edina, eden prarie, minnetonka, and wayzata all have strong teams. ep outplayed wayzata for most of the game but wayzatas goaltender came up big. but then ep came out sluggish in the next game and barely beat minnetonka. wayzata showed strong play here and there, and they can score. but edina right now is the team to beat, i thought they were a bit weaker then ep and wayzata but their team chem is great. rank: 1 edina 2 ep 3 wayzata... as for the players, i think u have to watch out for... edina: dietler and rauch. ep: goedtel, alexander, jepsen, and mulvehill. wayzata: day, higginbotham, leneave.

Does Wayzata have one goalie that is alot better than the other? Because it's odd they skated with EP and won that game but then it wasn't close with Edina. I think EP will bounce back from this tournament and really step it up. As for Edina, I think they have 3 solid lines that each have the ability to score and the whole team really moves the puck well. Their D looked pretty solid too, as they all could skate well and shoot the puck well too from what I saw. They seem to take a lot of stupid penalties though which could hurt them at some point.
Wayzata made goalie look bad

Wayzata made their goalie look really bad on saturday, giving edina 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances on shots. I think EP and Wayzata came out flat saturday after a long emotional game friday.

so it's not the goalies fault he give up rebounds? I just think Edina did a great job crashing the net and making plays. Edina was just as sluggish, if not more. They had the Sadies dance the night before with most of them staying up until 3 or so, after a long night of drinking. They were all quite hungover. Edina was the better team that day. A rematch may prove differently however. We will see.
