Its a TYPICAL white bear team... it will be this way all year!

Spuds win by 2.... and the fact that Sager didnt play his best goalie is a shame.... play to win or go home!
they won by one. idiot
As far as I know, you played Fargo South, not the Moorhead Spuds.

WBL lost 4-3, so what, I bet they had some really awesome cheers from their "loud & rowdy" fans!

I wasn't at the game so i don't know, but no one has really mentioned how Evan Weiss played in goal. How did he look? and do you think they could have won with Owen in goal?

white bear's student section was close to the same size as Fargo's. it was a good turnout for a four hour drive.

anyways this thread is about the game.. i will be attending. prediction..

WBL: 5
FS: 2
Thats because if you are born in Roseau the first thing your parents do when you can stand is put a pair of skates on you. Hockey is life in that town. I'm just saying don't under estimate teams from ND. GFRR along with South and GF Central aren't just going to be cake walks for Minnesota teams.

Fargo South

Roseau is the equivalent of Grafton in North Dakota. Just without Mike Lee.

Your team demonstrated that rather well !

Doubt if your student section could spell IOWA.

White Bear had no problem getting up to play the weak Fargo South team last year. South also tied the Minnesota team that beat you last night. I don't see how these excuses make any sense.
If the WBL coach and players didn't expect South to be good, that's an error in judgment and a very bad slip up, considering South has beaten WBL before, and I don't think it's a surprise that border ND teams are pretty good.

Edit: Also, if they didn't get up to play this game, how did they score 17 seconds into the game?

if you ever go to white bear you'll realize that people from wb are pretty much as far from being cake eaters as possible. dont talk about what you dont know. and wb outplayed fs, they just couldnt capitalize on their opportunities.

And....(Inferior NoDak hicks) Fargo South got the W and (Dominant, much superior) White Bear Lake got the L or Loss......

did i ever mention fs being "inferior or hick"? no.. im just sayin what ACTUALLY happened. were you even at the game? and never did i say anything about wb being "much superior" but now that i think about it, i would have to agree with you on both of those.

I find it rather interesting how peolple from Minnesota rip on a Fargo team, and lost, then make excuses why they lost.... I dont care if the bears outshot them by 100 shots... they still lost... Anyone recall their state playoff game against duluth east a few years back..... Yep bears lost and outshot them terribly if I recall correctly..... again, doesnt matter.... score more goals. I have followed the bears for over 15 years... and offense is one thing that has never been their fortay.. especially the Sager years..... play D and score a couple goals, and hang on to win..... howd that work for them in Fargo

i find it rather interesting how people from fargo can dish it out and not take it. it goes both ways bud. stop your complaining. obviously any team can win any given day and we all know that, but everyone has an opinion on what they think about a team or a game.

People from Fargo can't take it? It's the WBL fans who are still whining. What are you talking about? YOU LOST TO A NORTH DAKOTA TEAM! DEAL WITH IT!
