Hill-Murray 5, White Bear Lake 2
Final
Isaac Kohls with 2 goals for HM. His 2nd was a highlight goal - he deked 2 d-men and Collette, scoring on the backhand. Wahlin scored both WBL goals. WBL had the better 1st period. It was 1-1 & WBL led in shots 12-9. HM dominated the 2nd scoring 3 times. Way too many stupid penalties by WBL that killed them. Lennartson took a 5 min. major & disq. for checking from behind. HM scored twice on that power play including Kohls' beauty. HM did get a penalty in the middle of that 5 minutes. HM's young goalie Shaughnessy was very solid. Aldrich was full but there was not much tension after HM went up 4-1 in the 2nd.

First period was pretty even and the 2nd and 3rd were all Hill tonight. WBL did lead 1-0 with about 6 minutes left in the first and that was the only bright spot. They still have a ways to go to match Hill's skill and effort. Not sure if others thought it, but WBL looked a half a step slower.

Most definately, and spending nine minutes short handed in the 2nd period took the life out of them.

pretty sure the last goal of the bemidji-Ifalls game was off a bemidji player's skate. and he was inside the crease. it shouldn't have been a goal

I'm just going by the radio.... I was not at the game. If it did go off a Bemidji players skate and was not intentional then its a goal. But in the crease, I can't say much lol
