Blake could play U14B teams the rest of the year, and I'd still say at this point in time they're the best.
Quite honestly, I didn't disagree with you and thought Blake might be the best in the State too, having seen them play a couple of times. But Roseville's convincing 4-1 win puts that claim to rest, at least for now. If Roseville can handle a surprising Crookston team in the final, they will have a legitimate claim on the new No. 1...depending on what happens in the Stillwater-Edina ABRA final. In any case, it's looking like the true No. 1 will be decided on Tuesday night, when Roseville faces off against Stillwater (wish I could be there to see that one).
It's turning out to be a very interesting year!
Every one predicting C-town not to be in the hunt. So, #5 in the state, in the toughest section in the state, in both classes, in the championship game......hello city folk, give the outstate teams some respect! I'm predicting a tight game with the outcome too close too call. In two games , the outstate team in the championship game has not become the beneficiary of any calls thus so far by the ref's. Hopefully, tomorrows game will not be determined by the ref's. Roseville is a team to be reckoned with, but do not count any outstate A team out of any championship game.

Congrats to Crookston on reaching the final though I am not sure how strong SSP is. I think Roseville will give them a very good game today.
If you look at the shots Blake outshot Roseville almost 2-1 so not sure they still aren't a very strong team.
Roseville and Stillwater will decide who is the top team on Tuesday.

I think the Roseville-Blake game was closer than 4-1, but the better team did win. Blake was in the offensive zone way more than Roseville was, as the SOG indicate. Blake seemed to loose some passion after the score was 4-1 at the end of 2 and their goalie lookled frazzled after she was decked in the 3rd. But Blake had lots of good scoring opportunities - they just didn't click. Roseville's goalie earned a well-deserved Star of the Game. But the score could have been 2-2 as well as 4-1. Roseville was the better team though - excellent position play, very physical, with some impressive scores. Tuesday's game vs. Stillwater will be fun to watch.

Not sure why everyone is finding Crookston's win's so "surprising." Aren't they #5 in latest LPH right behind Blake, Breck, Warroad, Roseau? Watching their play - I thought they were very strong and fast. Today's game should be exceptional.

well i attended the blake roseville game in the kaposia and both teams looked very impressive in my opinion. it was a very well played game but i think rosevilles systematic play won it for them in the end. but does this game and winning kaposia really put them into contention for #1? i hear they also played a good game against stillwater and won it in overtime, did anyone get out to see this game?
