1AA: Lakeville South

2AA: Edina

3AA: Woodbury

4AA: White Bear lake

5AA: Centennial

6AA: Minnetonka

7AA: Duluth East

8AA: Roseau

I don't see how anybody can choose Hill Murray to win section 4AA. Since the loss of their key players they've lost to everyone besides Richfield and North who are horrible. Also, they tied Tartan. White Bear Lake, Stillwater, Roseville, and Tartan are all better than Hill from that section.

Also, Section 8 is a big question mark to me becuase Roseau isn't as strong as last year but Moorhead has been playing very poorly and are on an 8 game losing streak.

Oh, and Section 1 is just pathetic.

Tartan is better than Hill? You must be joking Tartan is absolutely awful. HM tied Tartan in their first game w/o the 4 players mentioned. WBL can be as good as HM on a given day, but w/ the lack of senior leadership on the team they will lose come section time. Stillwater will not beat HM. They are overrated. Roseville is the only respectable team mentioned above, but Hill is still better.

I agree with this selection but it must be said that Section 2AA will be a very tight race between Edina and Jefferson then there is the dark horse Holy Angels that could cause problems for both teams.
I predict that the winner of 2AA will be one of the teams in the State Championship Game

WBL, Stillwater and Roseville will all beat a castrated HM team. Tartan isn't awful but they are in no way a major threat to HM.

I agree with Cody 53193's comments on Sections 1 and 8, but I have some disagreement on his assessment of Section 4. I can't agree with his assessment that WBL, Stillwater, Roseville and Tartan are all better than Hill. I would say they are all capable of beating Hill, but Hill is also capable of beating all of those schools. The "everyone" Cody refers to Hill losing to since the loss of their key players are Holy Angels and Benilde. Are those losses worse that Roseville losing to Mounds View or Stillwater losing to Rogers? Section 4 will be wide open with any game between any of the top five teams being a 2-1 or 3-2 type of game.

3aa: Woodbury (will they finally make some noise at state?)
4aa: White Bear Lake (f they play like they can they'll win)
5aa: Blaine (Blaine or Centennial take ur pick i'll take Blaine)
6aa: Eden Praire (tough section but I think this is EP's year)

8aa: Moorhead (who has the worst section 1aa or 8aa?)

Top Four Seeds

Do not count HM out, Lechner is a coach who can get his team to do anything. WBL, Stillwater and Roseville coachs are good but not the caliber of Lechner. Tartans coachs don't seem to do a horrible job, but year in and year out they dont seem to come up with that BIG win. Going to as many 4AA games as I do...you hear Tartan parents bitching more than anyone else about their coaching staff and how they don't communicate with the players. Followed closely by WBL parents.I don't hear many complaints from the HM parents.
