As I see it, these are the top ten teams in the state:
1. Waseca Bluejays A
2. Marshall Tigers
3. Litchfield-Dassel-Cokato
4. Eveleth Golden Bears
5. Park Rapids Panthers
6. International Falls Broncos
7. River Lakes Stars
8. Pequot Lakes-CIA
9. St Peters Bulldogs
10. Warroad Warriors
These kids come back and play hard every week. Win or lose.

watchdog wrote:ill take your advice. one thing i may add my children along with their team accomplish alot on the ice but i and many other hockey parents do alot off the ice. their success is directly linked to what we do as parents. i do however waste my time arguing with people on this board about things that matter not. changing opinions will never happen and expressing them seems to do nothing but piss people off even those you may other wise like. so since ive seemed to develope a pattern of pissing people off even in roseau im resigning my position as the watchdog. all anyone does is come on here to whine and complain anyway. you talk about me babbling and boasting have you read this hockey board? actually all 5 on your list applies to 90% of the posters on these boards. thanks for the advice kind lady and i will sign off.
Most people who reply back on a thread like this are actully from the cities and most people in the cities can't see why we outstaters even play hockey. In fact, they really don't even think of outstate Minnesota as much of anything...except when they come up here to fish in our lakes, run over our land and poach our game, then it's ok that we're in Minnesota because they didn't have to buy an out of state license. Get it??? Finally anyone who bets against a truley good Roseau team (this one obviously is) is foolish, everyone should know this...except if their only paying attention to cakeeater TC hockey because that's all that really matters anyway.

Roseau way too high... only three quality wins in a season and they are #2? splitting with Edina, Wayzata during the season and a loss to Chaska in their own tourney? Playing patsys all year long might be their demise..I ain't sayin I'm just sayin....

You guys are wrong to pick on watchdog. I know him personally and he is a stand up guy. DOes a ton for Roseau Youth Hockey and his community. Besides, we know now that he was spot on in his assessments and the rest were all wet.
Besides, everybody and their mother knows that the way to number one in the LPH rankings is through subscription purchases. The more your community buys, the higher you are ranked.
