pretty embarrassing game for tech. Nobody was moving and they were letting lf walk all over them. I mean where is the pride? You would think they would kick it in gear once they are down 4 or 5 zip. nope they just kept sitting back. Brutal game. I am sure the players and coaches were happy to get running time so they could get off the ice.

STCLOUDTECH wrote:I think that Little Falls is a very good team. I am not just saying this because i live in St. CLoud but Tech has come together as a team lately. After losing to Roseau 6-0 we tied them 3-3 with one of our best players out (Maetche). If Hanowski wants to prove himself it is tonight because we are going to be going afer him with our BIG DEFENSE and if he gets taken out of the game LF has no chance. Assuming Techs goaltending does fine and nobody else gets hurt i will say
TECH 5
LF 4
YEAHHHHHHHH!
lol looked like there was 2 tech players got carried off the ice....i showed up at the game at about 5 minutes in and it was 4-0 LF

Honestly, Tech played a pretty good second period. Other than that it was all Flyers. LF defense gave Tech some great chances too. Not real impressed with Tech's goalie play.
Other goals I think Hirsch had a couple and Rydeen had one.
I was disappointed. I thought I was going to see a very competitive game. Ben was feeding Waytashek with a spoon all night.

Well the end of the game should have been 10-1, those refs were blind, the Tech skaters were at least 7-10 ft offside when they brought in the puck and scored. Other than that, wow 30 goals in 3 games, and for you that are blaming the coach, if you knew anything about the LF line you would have known that he played more of the 2nd and 3rd lines more than I have seen all year. The only thing I seen wrong with LF tonight was that their defense wasn't playing up to par the first of the start of the second.

The kid comes back to play his Senior year instead of playing Juniors - let the kid play. Maybe the coach thinks he owes Ben as much playing time as he can get. He's been on the other side of those beatings and realizes it's nothing personal.

Or you could say sense everyone says that LF plays such a weak schedule that they are just getting their endurance up and ready for section playoffs

Tech got worked like a Jr Gold team. I was hoping to see a close game, but Tech just got man-handled and there tenders looked weak. I know some of those goals they had no chance on but both tenders got lit up on weak shots from far out.

Alright for those of you complaining about Hanowski being out at the end of the game. I will explain. First of all LF's 4th line plays the whole jv game so they only have one period of elgibility. So sometimes by the 3rd period they only have 3 lines if one of those 4th liners has to fill in somewhere during the course of the game. Secondly as important as Hanowski is and as much ice time as he logs you still need two more lines and if everytime there blowing a team out they only play the 2nd and 3rd line there are putting those players at risk of getting hurt. Lastly I think it has to do with having to do with playing 3 periods, 2 years ago when LF had there big line of the Hanowski's and Festler they played in a lot of blow outs and by the time the 3rd and sometimes even 2nd period came the games where out of hand and that line sat the rest of the night, well they cruised through the playoffs under the same circumstances and when they got to state it showed they had been playing 2 periods most nights. They were stride for stride with Hermantown until the third, the big line got tired and they got beat.

Thank you, I am glad someone else see's this, and knows about this, and its just not for Hanowski to get the record. you couldn't of said it any better.

Hard to defend being on the ice when it's 10 - 2. Look, Hano is a great player and he WILL break the record. This is not a comment on the year long strength of schedule issue but LOOK at their next two games or for that matter their next three games.
They've got Prairie Center Area and River Lakes at HOME!!!! What's he need, 13 points. He'll probably have 13 assists in those two games.
Follow that up with Willmar away. It's a freakin lock!! I'll give him his due, he's a complete player with size and I expect him to be great for St. Cloud State as well but Couture should have set him in the last half of the third. It's on the coach not Hano.
