With zero goals (he has one JV goal) and four assists Clarky isn't exactly a scoring machine.
But he plays solid D and has a respectable +12 +/- ranking. But, who knows, maybe you are able to foretell the future, and the JMan will bury the game winner in OT. How do you see the future? Tarot cards, tea leaves, Ouija Board? Can you help me pick some stocks?

Have you ever considered stand-up, Medley?
Like thats a lagit source.(does Z. Loesch have a +16 too?)

With a sentence like that, I wouldn't be so quick to judge!

Why is everyone so critical about grammar on this forum?

If you can't make it out to Woodbury, it's on FSN tonight, 7:30!

Blanco is carefully planning out his witty, literate response. While we're on the topic correcting his grammar I should point out that in Spanish, White Bear is actually Oso Blanco not Blanco Oso. I hear Bear White is a good team too though.

I think mvhockey might be a little cranky considering we dominate moundsview 7-0.

White Bear would have won if Ben Clark would have played in the ot.

Being a Bears fan, it was a very frustrating game.
3-2, Woodbury wins with 21 seconds remaining in OT. Bummer.

It came down to WB just didnt finish their chances and Woodbury did.
I'll also give credit to Ness as he made some big saves point blank.

I was not overly impressed with Woodbury (exception of Ness & Nowicki). I was impressed with WB's poise and spacing. Had they buried their point blank chances, they win by at least 2. If they get more from Owen, I predict that WB will come out of section 4...unfortunately.

You can be as unimpressed as you like, but a reocrd of 20-3-2 shows that this team has the ability to win in tough situations. Even though you're a Hill guy, you have the same old WBL lament of "if only Owen did more"..."if only we had buried the point blank chances". The fact is that WBL didn't and hasn't all season.

Actually, arguing has nothing to do with it. It's how each head coach votes.

surprise, surprise Owen doesn't show up again you would think that with White Bear controlling this game for 3 periods (in my opinion) that he could back them up a little bit, but no, I just hope he got all that out of his system before playoffs, which I think he has now and with the addition of Birki maybe, we should be able to get deep into the playoffs and probably state if they turn it on
(P.S.) hats off to Ness he played an outstanding game as much as I hate to say it

um.... the shots were 6-1 woodbury after the first and white bear only got 1 shot in the O.T to woodbury's 5. I wouldn't say White Bear controlled this game it really went back and forth. Also why do people keep saying collette played bad he made more saves than ness did and I thought he did decent job last night not spectacular or anything but definatley not as bad as people are saying.

Woodbury obviously controlled the first period (2-0 after the 1st), but the Bears definitely controlled the remaining two. Overall, the bears looked like the better team... It was not "back-to-back" in the second or third when the bears had CONSTANT shots hitting the net but just couldn't capitalize or get the rebounds.
I believe the final shots, in regulation, were 21 for WB and 19 for Woodbury.
However, in my opinion, Owen really stepped up in OT. He made some great saves.

First off it was 1-0 after the first period with Pittman scoring on a snipe. The second period I thought white bear really came out and played well, they just couldn't slip the puck passed ness. I felt besides the 1st period it was a good game by both teams and fun to watch.
One last thing I noticed last night was it seemed like both teams missed the net on good scoring opportunities in close a few times.
