No opponent is going to want to hear CEC pulled out of the hat (since the 4 un-seeded teams are drawn that way) if they've been paying attention to the last 3 weeks of hockey, and may vote to have them seeded rather than have to play them first.

The thing I still don't understand since the first time they seeded the boys tourney.. if you're going to take the time to seed the top 4.. why not seed all 8 teams? It can't take THAT much longer can it?

In the past in other sports I have seen the North teams get very little respect from teams in and around the twin cities. I would rather go with the draw than have them vote you to #8.
