I spoke to Ryan Kernz last night and asked him why the game was at Eveleth. He said the following:

"We like to rotate the game in the Iron Range for a few years at each rink. We have tried to host the game in Hibbing but are unable to do so because Hibbing host the first rounds of the basketball playoffs which are on the same dates as the hockey games. Virginia is hopefully where the game will end up for the next 3 years."

Also, the game tonight is at the new hockey rink in Duluth. It should be a good environment.

Great game last night at the Heritage. The Iron Range looked like a much better team last night and came from behind to force OT. Good turn out as well.

Is there a box score from either night in the Duluth Paper? Anybody know who scored or played well on either night?
