mound has absolutely no chance...the only reason id like to see them win is because they're a public school...orono was the only team that had a realistic chance of taking breck out and with the loss to mound breck has the section pretty much wrapped up. The only way mound can win is if horgan scores 4 or more goals becuase breck will most certainly score at least that many, mound simply doesnt have the goaltending. Breck will most likely shut down the top line from mound because of their superior skill and depth the second line from breck will also be able to keep up with mound...the way i see it mound has a 1 in 100 chance of winning

7 2 Breck. Breck played the worst game I've seen them play. Mound played the best game I've seen them play. Still lost by 5.

You must be blind or something.
Breck played great, created a lot of chances and played hard all night. Yea, they slacked off a few times but Russell came up big for him on the 2 breakaways.
Mound played OK..not good, not bad, just OK. Aaron Davis is too small of a goaltender, he just got picked apart.
Hopefully Breck represents Section 2A well at state.
Btw, $28,000 to go to Breck for a year? Mother of god.

haha reidy... I don't think you realize this but you are embarassing the hockey team you cheer for. have you ever played a high school hockey shift? I think not. I know for a fact that the kids on the Mound team don't appreciate what you say on here because I know that most of them are actually very classy kids.

Cut Riedy a little slack, he's just calling it like he see's it just like most of the rest of us on this board. Mound played very well in the first period and the begining of the second. It was a tight game and they did a good job of keeping the puck out of their own net while getting flooded with shots. Bottom line...Horgan is a very talented player who has been fun to watch, but clearly the best team in the section won and they have a legit chance at winning it all.
Go Mustangs!

Being an alumni of Mound Westonka, I can say that the large majority of people from the town, and supporters of their beloved hockey team, have lots of class. Reidy is just an avid supporter, perhaps a little too avid.
I assure you, not all MWHS students or residents of that school district are as "interesting" as Reidy.
Congratulations Breck, and good luck in State! And good run to the Whitehawks!

There are a lot of fans of hockey that never touched the ice, what're you trying to prove here TPS? The kid is a fan, and he offers his opinion on his team, so what does it matter if he never touched the ice? I critique the Wild, so are you going to give me crap because I've never stepped foot on the ice at Xcel?
The fact is, you're probably a backup goalie on a second-tier private school that doesn't cut, and you're just trying to make others feel as bad as you do.
