Didn't know about the overall success of the program. Good for the kids and yes, with that kind of success hopefully their will be a continued revival for the mpls program.

I wouldn't call it a "revival" of inner-city hockey...this program is made up from kids in St. Louis Park and the rich kids from Mpls Southwest.

I've seen these kids for 6 years. They waltz into an arena thinking the game is theirs. I see them in the lobbies screwing around with each other with anything but a hockey game on their minds. I've seen them outside a locker room 15 minutes before gametime talking about how much they're gonna win by against a team they've never seen before.[/quote]
Interesting. Seeing as this particular team has not been together for 6 years. As for THIS team, 15 minutes before a game they are IN the locker room preparing for a game and not screwing around in the lobby as you say they are. We did dryland an hour before every game and then did not leave the locker room until it was time to hit the ice. My question to you is, which team did you play for this past weekend in St. Cloud?

The refs sucked the whole tourny for every game. It is state and they should have kept their whistle in their pocket.

most players will be unless the entire team has moved out of the association. This team i have seen standing outside of the LOCKER ROOM 15 minutes before a game screwing around. My team was not in st. cloud. But we had a very great year for our team and had a much better season than expected for the type of talent we had.
