I have heard there are a number of "B1 to A" level players that have moved into the Rosemount Associaiton both at the Peewee and Bantam levels - lots of new homes in this area. Could make for an even better team.Rosemount - Super team moves on to peewees, although squirt success doesn't always indicate peewee success, first year players will add to one of the best forwards in D8 and one of its top goalies.
Didnt they divide into north and south to accomodate the new high school? Has something changed?inthenet wrote:What about Lakeville? I heard they are only having one Bantam A, One PeeWee A and One Squirt A this year any truth?
I heard word that the association was still one, and that they were going to have one A team at all levels so they could try and keep there top end players???Shoot Higher wrote:Didnt they divide into north and south to accomodate the new high school? I agree, But has anyone else heard the same???observer wrote:That's nuts.
Yes he was 2 years ago. Not eligible for Bantams this yearFire and Ice wrote:Blaine and Andovers Bantam A???
By the way Roo was a first year Bantam
High School coach is Aaron Forsythe (3rd year coaching, former Forest Lake player, 4 years Mankato state, 3 yrs ECHL. Very involved with the youth program)TellItHowItIs wrote:old goalie85 wrote:forest lake to have non parent paid coaching at peewee and bant levels this year. Both went to regions last year. high school coach involved with youth very good. should spell improvment for the old grappling town. plus two new sheets of ice.
So - Who is this new coach?
Roo was second year Bantam last season and will be a first year Totino Grace freshman next year. Not a good sign for the CR program. Great player with all of the tools. Looked outstanding at the Advanced 15's........FrooTyeagledad2b wrote:Yes he was 2 years ago. Not eligible for Bantams this yearFire and Ice wrote:Blaine and Andovers Bantam A???

Coon Rapids is getting a solid coach for the A bantams moving from a JV position to coach A bantams so they should be good to goFire and Ice wrote:Once again the same old will run the level

no particular order
see how much peewees counts when they are Bantams most of the "could be squads" stay also rans save this one for March 2010
Coon Rapids will lose too many of there players and no coaching
I never once said he will make the Bantam A team better but he will know how to keep them motivated for a full season and not just motivated for the beginning of the season. Can't think of his name off the top of my head if I remember it I will post itFire and Ice wrote:Who is it?
And why does a JV coach make a Bantam A team better?
Coon Rapids has gone through a High School coaching transition in the past couple of years which will take some time for him to turn the program around. The JV coach may not be known to everyone due to the changes, but if it is the coach who I think it is the team will be better coached with this group of kids than years past. I am not saying they will win Districts, but the players will gain knowledge from this individual unlike the past. If, they brought back the coaching staff that took the Bantams to State years back, then yes they would be solid, but like Fire and Ice commented there are internal issues which indirectly ousted this coach out of coaching/board member position. The reason because his son open enrolled at a different high school. The 1 Board member that demanded him to vacant his coaching/board position for this reason 2 years later did the samething and is STILL on the Board. Thats one of the internal issues and its not only in our association, but this individual should be relieved of his position also. Good luck to the new A Bantam coach as he has a good and talented group of kidsFire and Ice wrote:Call me crazy but if he is going to make an impact I would guess everyone would know his name.
Too many internal issues at Coon Rapids.
