Puckstopshere - I'll save you the pain of reading hockeydad's other threads and tell you he has 3 kids, with the oldest not quite 5 years old. That should answer many of your questions regarding his relentless pursuit of hockey information. His desire to keep beginning pointless threads and posting useless information continues to confuse me though.
Hockeydad - I did chuckle when I read your last posts since Bernie hadn't dreamed up the concept of making money off AAA teams when my kids were playing in the off season. I have great respect for his vision, just not his methods, but it's nice for everyone to have a "choice". I have more respect for all of the association volunteers that are dedicated to making hockey a great experience for their entire hockey communities especially since they are not compensated financially for their efforts. They have to deal with parents like you who will never be satisfied and don't care one bit about the B and C players altho with your children so young, you may want to be careful there since you don't know what the future may hold!!
It's not possible to tell in Mites if your kid will be a NHL prospect or D1 candidate or even a future HS player. I know this will come as a HUGE surprise to you but it's true. It is a marathon, not a sprint. Sit back, chill out and enjoy the ride (and listen to the wisdom of those that have experienced more than the Mite level!).
