Great schedule. All of the top boys teams in AA and A are represented, as well as some other interesting tilts.

Nice line up....but where's Breck? Seems they should have earned some air time.

St. Francis vs. Eastview? I am not saying there programs are bad, but i am a little dissapointed i dont see breck, warroad, virginia all three teams who were made it to state. Also im a little dissapointed not to see roseau or thief river falls playing in any of these games.
but its a great line up i am sure its costly for fsn to do games up in the north. Im sure we are all in for another great season.

Living in Alaska, I second that. Very disappointing they don't have the 7AA semi-finals on there, considering FS-North is going to be at the DECC that weekend for the Gophers/Bulldogs series.
Anyways, the double header at the DECC they do have, I'm sure Tyler Johnson will be happy, being able to see cloquet while he's in Duluth for the CC Tigers series vs. UMD.

i cant beleive roseau v morehead cannot crack the fsn lineup...they are a couple of the most meaningful games of the year...buffalo is the premier team in 8AA...come on man.

Agreed. You'd think after winning the State Tourney with 18 of 20 players back, maybe they could have bumped STA or WBL back to one game or maybe passed on that huge Rogers/Buffalo rivalry. Call me crazy but I think the Breck/Shattuck, Catherdral, Lourdes or even STA games may be worth watching. Or maybe it's because Hill Murray with it's 3 appearances has taken up the allotment for private school slots!

Buffalo is safe travel for the cidiot Gorg as he can still see the city lights from the Buffalo parking lot.

Buffalo really rolls out the red carpet for FSN, so they get a home game every year, even though the matchup isn't nearly as interesting.
The schedule ends on January 30--is that normal? That leaves three weeks of the regular season and all the playoffs uncovered. Not that it matters much to me since I'm not in a place that gets FSN North, but it seems odd.

I am not sure I understand the St Francis v East Ridge (First year Team) there must be a connection somewhere.
Rogers/Buffalo pretty simple who is at the top of MN Hockey?...I will give you three tries. Buffalo will get a game on FSN every year.
And Northwoodsguy No games above Duluth because Gorg and the boys rolled there vehicle in the "Northwoods".
Makes announcing dangerous to your health.
Oh Tartan v St Thomas ??

I hear you on that, glad the boys made it home safe indeed. Sarsland would make the trip to the tiny town of Roseau I guarantee it

Tony would play in the middle of the street.
So I agree.
MHO
Hill V WBL
Roseau v Warroad or Moorhead
Blaine v Centennial
Edina v Ep
Duluth E v Cloquet or G Rapids
should be guarantees every year.
sold out rinks and usually have something riding on it.

Buffalo gets a game every year because their AD (or some other figure in Buffalo hockey) has connections within FSN. It has nothing to do with Kevin Gorg, nor does any other game scheduled. Also, as Karl said, if you've ever seen the Buffalo home game on FSN, you'll see they make a huge deal out of it.

hockie wrote:New AD? Where did the last one go? Just saw him at a school event - acting every bit the AD - in the last week.
Well this AD didn't even get a home football game on homecoming. I'm not a fan.
It's the high schools Student Council that decides what week is homecoming. The athletic director doesnt schedule homecoming week.
I'm also surprised the Edina Classic isnt going to broadcasted this year like previous years

Could care less about the "dog and pony show" just want to see 2 teams that can play hockey. I will take Fire and Ice's wish list and second that.

Elk River verse Rogers I am tuning in!!

It's St. Francis vs East Ridge......MN leading dcorer vs. brand New School's first game ever....that's the draw.

Heard all but two games were cancelled on the FSN schedule due to lack of advertising money. Anyone heard the same?

Not sure on specifics, but coming second hand from someone involved with the production, the games have been cancelled. Monday game with Minnetonka vs. AHA is cancelled.
I really enjoyed these games and the production. Very disappointed if this actually happens. I hope my info turns out to be incomplete or incorrect.

Let's see that wealthy channel 5 guy step up and put the games on the #45
