Section 8's always a battle usually ending up with warroad on top, but they should just ask the other team if the wanna just play pipes, because there better off that way than expecting there goalie to stop 10 shots... so unless the other teams agree i don't see them makin hotel reservations anywhere near the X

Its nice to see your back and still a great fan of your hometown team.
I'll call PR a darkhorse.

TRF will be tough this year behind Gothberg, but Nelson and Warroad are just too good to not make it back to the X.

They would do better if they were in front of Gothberg!

Both TEAMS will be tough this year...

I don't understand how PR was ranked ahead of Thief in the Follow The Puck rankings, and how they were left out of the top 20. If someone could please explain it would be greatly appreciated.

park well walk through there cake walk schedule as ussually, we will learn alot on the december 5th when they play egf. by alot i mean who is gonna get seeded to loose to warroad and who will loose to thief in the semis.
its obvious in my mind that the two players who are going to the souix are gonna give there future coaches a show at the civic center in the finals.

Lets not count out EGF...they have a lot of young talent and will be well coached....I think they will be a very good contender come section time not to mention its in their barn.

So is it by rule that the lower teams only play the lower teams in the section? I just looked at the EGF and Red Lake Falls schedules
EGF plays Warroad 2x, TRF 2x, Crookston 2x, as well as jumping up to play AA Roseau 2x, Moorhead, Brainerd, and Apple Valley, Hermantown (A), and GF Red River 2x and GF Central 2x.
Red Lake Falls only plays single A teams and the most powerful looks like TRF, EGF, and Crookston 2x.
Park Rapids? My kid's bantam team plays a tougher schedule than Park Rapids.

Bemidji 10
EGF 1
Something tells me Useldinger won't be able to carry this team to state by himself...

To be fair, EGF were missing a couple of D men.
But EGF does not have any depth.
Useldinger's first line and 15 and 7 on D are okay, but the rest of the guys have to step up.
