Penaltys and Power play killed Tartan. When I say poer play I mean their own. They gave up two shorthanded goals. Woodbury vs Tonka for the Finals. Toppers and Tartan for the 3rd place honors. Tartan played like its an early season game, Woodbury looked to have midseason form already.

56 shots for Woodbury. 30 of those were in the second period. Either Tartan has a good goalie, or the Royals shots weren't the greatest.

Qbtobe7,
If you saw the game was Woodbury that bad or Tonka that good? I know Woodbury had 13-14 seniors returning from last years team which was very good so I expected them to be better.
Also, how did Tartan look?

Minnetonka just flat out beat up on them. Max Gardiner scored for the Skippers within seventeen seconds and they just didn't look back. Woodbury took a lot of penalties and Minnetonka capatalized on them.
Only caught the tail end of the Tartan/Duluth Marshall game so I couldn't tell you.

And Why does every thread have to include some stupid opinion from the Hill crowd. Hey wake up the world DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND HILL MURRAY!!!!!
It's about time we start a hill murray forum so all the hill fans can talk about how wonderful their overrated team is.
Yes I know, they think they are really good because they make it to state almost every year but they don't notice that their section is one of the easiest ones.

The Tartan game was pretty good. A lot of physical contact going around. It was noticed that the Marshall goalie was not happy with the game at all, but the Tartan fans probably contributed to that as well. Tartan's Jake Horton, who's a freshmen, had a hat-trick, with Mitch Rowe assisting each one. Then David Friberg also had a goal, and Jake Mckee had two. It was a good game overall.
