That's what mnhockeyhub is showing on the gamesheet. They show Marc Richards scoring at 8:48 of the second, assist to Miles Death being the only goal of the game.

Eagan 3 LVS 0
Shots: Eagan 26 LVS 19
Eagan looked solid, controlled the whole game and are back to their winning ways. Chaska on Saturday and then the EP rematch.

Eagan wore down LS physically, first period very even, I'd argue they didn't CONTROL the entire game. Bodeker came up big stopping two breakaways and a penalty shot while the score was 0-0 halfway through the second. Eagan beat up the underclassman pretty well and took advantage of their chances, hats off to them but the game wasn't as one sided as our friend from Eagan would have you believe. Both Osterberg and Kloos were injured, one on a check from behind.

Tell the story however you want but dont lie...there was no checking from behind penalty called in the game. Secondly, 90% of Lakeville's shots were from the outside and basically harmless other than a few in close and the penalty shot. The game was never really close even if the score indicated that. nuff said

I was at the Eagan game as well and yes it was a very close game. I will disagree with the checking from behind injury to Kloos. The player that checked him got a roughing penalty for it

and the only reason it was a penalty is because it happened in front of the LS bench. I couldn't figure out how a kid gets a roughing penalty while checking a kid from the side as he's playing the puck?
Anyway, it was a nice win for Eagan and to shut out LS was impressive. I'm convinced they'll make state the next 3 years out of section 1.

Oh sorry I guess they called it roughing, Kid wasn't any less hurt. Why the anger? I gave them credit? They were the better team tonight but shots after 2 were 19 - 15 and LS gave them the first goal on a bad change. Like I said they wore them down and were in charge by the third but I 'm not convinced they CONTROLLED the entire game. Excellent game plan by Eagan, pound the kiddie corp from LS, it worked very well.

In fairness to the play concerning the roughing penalty I thought it was penalty but not a 2 and 10, unfortunately for South it had a major impact on one of their better players. I was amazed the coach kept running the kid out there on one leg, he was defenseless.
