STA was playing well unto the 3 goal flurry by HM that sealed the deal. Really dirty game on both sides. I started keeping track of the penalties at first but just gave up. Skytte got plenty of cheapshots, as expected, but it was pretty bad on both sides. Had a small fight by the STA fan section late where minor roughing penalties were handed out. Good game overall though, this looks like the begining of a really good CSC rivalry.

I was impressed with Andy Herzog D, Jack Baer F, Anders Lee (another freshman) and of course Schroeder. Schroeder has great hands, vision, and can fly.

Hoeffel for Hill can motor and makes it look so effortless. His wrist shot is sick. Arrigoni can fly, but he should try playing defense once in a while as should a lot of Hills forwards.

Very fun game to watch. It was my first time in that arena. Very nice.

i dont know if skytte was the best player on the ice, but he definately held his own and matched up just fine with his old teammates, even thought i do not feel he played to his potential .... if he did, sta could have maybe pulled this one off

Glad to see that STA hung in with the big boys in AA. Great Goaltending? Really, i was not there, but from the stats it looks like the opposite. Did any HM kids take any runs at Skytte, i am sure there was plenty of heckling from the fans directed at him. Have to respect the choice of transfering, beautiful rink, team on the rise, great hockey minds on the bench, great guys on the bench, probably more playing time, and a chance to prove the old team wrong. I hope to see the Cadets in St. Paul come March again.

Hung in? They were ahead until the three goals in less than a minute in the 3rd. Without that STA would've been ahead. They did more than hang in there.

I know they did more to hang in there withthen winning for a lot of the game, but the box score still says they lost by three. The STA coaches are top of the line look how much the program has turned aroung since their arrival. I dont see the HM guys in the same class as the STA coaches.

Warroadsalt, how bout u worry about Warroad from now on instead of constantly ripping on sta. After the loss given to them by Hibbing, it looks like the Warriors arent quite top of the line anymore, which means when sta plays almost even with Hill, there could be a shift in the guard... So dont be so cocky.
