If the Saints can win the Super Bowl, Mahtomedi can win the A state tournament.

Well at least a quarter final game anyways.
They 1st need to get past that 1st game jynxx ... and then not overlook the opposition in the semi.
Breck will be there in the final .. there is no doubt. That game will be won by the 2nd and 3rd lines .... team desire will have to outplay team depth ... because 1st line Mahtomedi could not skate the whole night at the X in December, nor will they this Saturday afternoon.

I guess I was always under the impression that the players should be the ones bringing the energy...

regarding "energy" - it's a symbiotic relationship

The more we talk about this game, the more excited I am to see it, I think Alex's first line will hold their own and make a good game out of this, but i think lines 2 and 3 are where Mahtomedi will have a definate advantage in this game, I like this as the first game of the state tournament, the way I see it you got two teams who have a lot to prove, yes the Zephs knocked out STA, but its the big show now, hopefully both teams put on a good show to kick off the 2010 State Tourney.....

Ouch! That had to be a little embarrassing, falling on his butt like that during the introductions.
Reminded me of when Phil Esposito did the same, I think during the NHL-Russia series in '72

Start of the 2nd. Alex came out on fire. Two shots, 2nd one off the post!

I like that Alexandria didn't let those two goals bring them down. They are definetly taking it to them again at the beginning of the 2nd... Now if Housley could pronounce it Alex instead of Alec. And the McGraw guy keeps says Alexander instead of Alexandria. I'd like to see them get one on this PP, they deserve one.

A lot of people call Alex, Alec, including people that live there.

That Ben Marshall kid reminds a lot of Aaron Ness. Small kid but can skate very vell and provide offense. He's a heck of a player

I was thinking the same comparison. Very patient and smart. He's has another gear that Alexandria can't keep up with. I know they have other good players, but Mahtomedi will only go as far as he takes them.

I really like Thomas Williams and Kirby Nelson for Alexandria. Both seem to be pretty solid players.

Just noticed that to, now his voice is becoming even more annoying
