well last year woodbury had 2 JGB teams with little senior leadership and both teams beat the state champion Lakeville team and we all know how good those guys were. and this year its a combination of the good seniors from each team with a very quality blue line. im not an expert in the other districts but woodbury wont roll over. as far as st thomas goes there a joke kids should have stayed on the pond. espically 38

Lots of trash talking going on, most are confident Woodbury isn't that good because we are from D8. I guess we'll just have to work hard. As far as Cadet36 goes, you seem a little sore that we beat you 3 times in one year bud.

JGBallday14, 38 is my brother so why don't you shut ur trap cake eater.
For larsen they were all pretty close games we will come back and play harder and get shots through your unskilled goalies.

I know no body will agree with me and i doubt those will be the scores,however, i wont be suprised at all if we see two upsets in the second round sending green and burnsville to the ship. Burnsville lost to gold 2 0 and 2 1 (or 3 2), but burnsville has improved alot since then judging on how i saw them in regions. Woodbury no offense but your from D8 thats like putting a top u16 team against edina. The scores are ideas of how i think the games will go like blue vs gold, its going to be dominated by gold. IF IF IF burnsville and gold see eachother that will be a game to watch both teams are great gold does have the advantage between the pipes but burnsville can FLY when they want to in my opinion they are the fastest team in the leauge even their big guys get up to speed, they are faster than some A teams i have seen. Thats the game i want to see, if those two teams see each other in semis, that is the true championship game. Junior Gold at its best boys good luck to all, this has been my favorite year of hockey even though my team just barley missed the big stage.

Yeah dude youe welcome but im not even giving you props, you guys are a good team thats a fact and you wouldnt have finished 2nd in the west if you werent, no body likes you guys because of all the trash you talk but in my opinion your a hell of a team so talk all t=you want as long as you back it up and prove to these guys that im right and youll win state. 2nd in the west is saying something the west is obviously the hardest leauge.

I have played Woodbury, Burnsville, and Edina Green each two times. In my opinion Woodbury is the best one, and whoever said they have unskilled goalies, we only played one of them, but their goalie was what kept them in the games against us. Good luck to all teams in state boys.

Ahh the truth comes out Cadet36. St. Thomas sure talks a lot for 3 losses to teams with "bad goalies".
Anyways, thanks IBleedJGB12. The goalie you faced twice was Matt Potter. He is our other goalie and it stinks our rotation just so happened to have him play you twice and I didn't get a shot. He most defnitely played amazing though and you deserve the number 1 spot, you are great.
I hope Burnsville handles St. Thomas, that would be great :)

Wise words who knows it could be roseville, blue, white, and STA winning the first round....all these teams are good otherwise they wouldnt be there.

Agreed, that's why some of the trash talking is making me nervous haha. I am only hating on Cadet36 though.
Anyways, good advice. Anyone can beaten on a given day. Everyone will be bringing there A game so we'll see how it pans out.

Anyone having to play them watch out for numbers 14,3 and 11 they like to cheap shot people and are the worst hockey players i have ever seen out there. Score a few goals on there one goalie he will get mad and loose the game for everyone.

Cadet36, you talk a lot for a non-factor on your team. Anyways, 14, 3, and 11 on our team play physical, not cheap. Well not cheap all the time haha. Everyone hacks once in awhile :) Besides, they know how to work the slot and behind the net and can put the puck in the net. And me and the other goalie don't get frustrated, except I did one time but that was because I gave up two goals and had a rough 30 sec haha.
Good luck to everyone, I hope we see all close games and some good hockey. Burnsville, bury them please.

The rules of Minnesota Hockey required they play in district 8. It wasn't a choice.
