Note that the Eagan 1-0 win was due to a forfeit as Edina could not get to the rink in the storm last Saturday. But I am pretty sure that they did forfeit rather than play the game.The fact that Edina couldn't make it is lame. Eagan, Winnipeg, Wayzata etc... all made it. Wonder what the story is/was???? Edina did not show up for the final game against Eagan. Elkriver showed up, wayzata, Eden prairie, Eagan, chaska, etc. . . But Edina didn't. Guess is that because they lost the first two games they knew they could not make it out of the bracket. Only problem is is that it affects other teams.

From the parents I talked to it was a communication breakdown that caused Edina to not go to the game. If that was the case I'm pretty shocked...and Girlhockey... teams win and lose all the time thats why the rankings are updated week to week. Personally rankings don't mean jack as its the team standing at the end of the year that matters and im guessing it won't be yours.
By Minnesota Hockey definition, if there's a clock and a ref it's a game. Call it an outside of District game.1/11 scrimmage
