Hibbing and Virginia coaches also show alot of class to each other. EXCEPT Hibbing coaches don't let the kids beat up the opponet in the playoffs 22-0!!! How would you like getting beat 22-0 in your last game as a senior? I sense your still a little upset about losing 2 years straight in the semis. It will more than likely be Hibbing and Virginia in the finals again this year.
Give it up already. That was a year ago and you go ranting and raving about it til your blue in the face. After already taking a 5-1 loss in your first game, saying hibbing is likely in the finals at this point is very premature.
Go ahead and bet against them and you'll be the one looking like a fool come March just like the past 2 years! They have 5 seniors and 2 are goalies. They have tons of sophmores so they will learn throughtout the season. I bet Hibbing goes farther than Falls.

I got a feeling in my bones that Little Falls is going to make some of you pollsters look silly, not ranking them (yet) this season.

(And it's not from the cold either; it's always 90 here.)

Although it is early in the year.

You may be right Teak.

Little Falls was not on my radar and that was an impressive win.
Good luck to LF.
You will probably see a big change in the LPH ratings next week.

I didn't say the falls were any better or they would go further than hibbing. The falls have a young squad and a brand new coach. But unlike you im not stating my team is already going to be in the finals in an extremely competetive section.

you have Totino at number 2?! they return a goalie who was mediocre a year ago. yeah they bring back a few point getters in roo and fust, but only bring back THREE defensemen with varsity experience from the year before.

Is this just a holdover from last year???? Breck lost almost everyone, Hermantown and Warroad lost thier studs and you still have them the top three? This isn't last March..... Any rankings that don't have STA on top are either delusional or homers.

How does one rank high school teams without any games being played? Are you able to see everyone's practices and scrimmages? No. So I kept last years top three, until they start playing games of course. And yes I'm a homer towards Breck, Hermantown and Warroad simultaneously.
