10-0 against Central and 8-4 against Francis...... I hope they keep it under 20 for the sake of the kids.

I'll go with East by eight. The third and fourth lines will see a ton of ice time.

One more prediction; if East wins by less than ten, a fan of Centfeld will go "what happened?"

I have no desire to watch this beating, but considering its the only home game left this month, Ill be there..

I work til 7:30 over in soup town, so Im sure by the time I get there it'll be 5-0 :?

If CI didn't have injuries it would be 15-0 tops!

Seriously I will go with 11-0. The last 3 meetings have been by 5 goals each game.

I will go with 14-0 no joke. Goaltending is horrific for cambridge this year and not much ater 2 decent players on the first line. Cambridge worst team since going 1-24 in 2001.

Call me a poor sport or a bad fan but Im not paying to see the 3rd and 4th line. I'm paying to see the entire team to see what they have. I don't care if the score is 4-0 or 40-0. I've played the game for 20 yrs and I know the first 2 lines don't like playing 10 shifts a game

With this being the first of three consecutive days the Hounds are playing, and tomorrow night's opponent (White Bear) no slouch, I would expect to see more of the third and fourth lines, and some JV kids, tonight.

All four lines were out there quite a bit tonight. Eleven players had at least one goal, thirteen had at least one assist, so it really didn't matter who was out there, every line scored early and often. Eleven players were a +5 or better on the night so it was basically ugly. For Cambridge. Not very enjoyable from a spectator standpoint; after about seven minutes it was 5-0 on something like six shots. To the Jackets credit, they played hard but were massively outmatched.

This kind of game doesn't do East much good. While they should play Cambridge due to being in the same section, now they have to turn around and play tomorrow night against a very good opponent in White Bear Lake.

Im sure they'll do good against WBL.. From what I saw, the dame from about 3/4 thru the 1st until the end of the game was each line playing keep away and practicing their passing.. the SoG could have easily been in the mid 60s if they just shot, but they would crash the net, then pass to the point, the D would skate around , make like 4 more passes, shoot, ( and usually ) goal .. It was a good practice if anything

Only thing that worries me about East this yr ( BUT, this was only my first game ) is the "D" besides the first line.. #41 looked very good as well as #9, Although it was tough to tell since they were barely skating

that is a very poor excuse

That was after the second period. Final 16-0

mj79 - #9 is a forward not defense. There was 14page full color program, you must have missed it at the door.

Nope didnt see one there, went up to watch the game, came back down after the 1st period and asked the lady for a program, and she didnt have any

As for #9, Im sure he wasnt the only forward playing defense this game.. Everyone was playing everywhere

DE has Princeton coming up. Should be a tough one. Maybe we should start a thread and poll who will win. Stupid.

The Legend 13 wrote:I believe last year was the closest the game has ever been between the 2 teams at 5-0. I think it was 3-0 till late in the 3rd and then 2 goals, the last one being an empty netter (I think, or it was a goal with under 10 seconds). Shots were still lopsided.

I see this game being at least a 10 goal difference. Cambridge had 5 or 6 very talented sophomores that left the team and are playing varsity elsewhere (Hill Murray, Blaine, Totino Grace, Benilde). Will be at least 5 years until they rebound from that. This is also the worst goaltending theyve had since I can remember Cambridge having. Cambridge also lost to Duluth Central 10 to 0.
Very talented group that Cambridge had. I think there were eight from the 2009 CINB A Bantam team that were in the Advanced Program this summer. A few made it to NY.
