What you will hear from anyone at East who would have any say in this happening is that "it would serve no purpose." A win is expected, so why play the game. A loss gives them a loss to a Class A team and a local one at that. Why add Marshall and Hermantown to your schedule every year when you can play section foes Cambridge-Isanti and Princeton? Well, section teams get you ranked in sections and beating Superior is cool. Bout all I can think of.
But yeah, I agree that a team that hasn't had a losing record (I think ever) in a while is probably the worst program ever. Great comment.

But yeah, that's it. 57 winning seasons in a row, with #58 to be clinched in the next week or so, hopefully.
