Late score from last night:

Mound-Westonka 4, Orono 2

Mound came back and scored three goals in the 3rd period, including two by metro scoring leader Taylor Kuehl, for the win.

The good news: I predicted the 4-2 score which helps me claw back to respectability this week.

The bad news: Three others (Silent But Deadly, hockeyheaven and penaltyshot) also predicted the 4-2 score so I didn't make up any ground on three that were already ahead of me.

Updated point totals heading into a two game Friday night:

1. TeamFirst - 10 (8 of 8 winners including two correct scores!)
2. Silent But Deadly - 9 (7 of 8 with two correct scores)
hockeyheaven - 9 (also 7 of 8 with two correct scores)
4. Five tied with 7
9. Two tied with 6
11. One with 5

Also I will be out of town tomorrow and much of Sunday so I will not be able to post final results for this week until Sunday evening sometime.

I will also be putting up a separate thread for the final regular season contest (Week 12) later today to give people plenty of time to get their predictions posted for the grand finale.

Tonight's scores are late to be reported, but it APPEARS that the actual results are:

Hill-Murray 5, South St. Paul 2
Shakopee 4, Farmington 6

Assuming these results and scores are, in fact, correct, the standings heading into Saturday's five games are:

1. TeamFirst - 12 (10 of 10 winners including two correct scores!)
2. Silent But Deadly - 11 (9 of 10 with two correct scores)
hockeyheaven - 11 (also 9 of 10 with two correct scores)
4. sinbin - 10 (moves up, getting the Hill-Murray/SSP 5-2 score correct)
5. mnhockey3535 - 9
penaltyshot - 9
7. Four tied with 8
11. One with 7

Final standings for Week 11 will be posted Sunday evening!

Today was the Ponies day... hats off to our rival in their 1-0 win. Even though I felt the Raiders out played them, bottom line is simple, if you can't score, you can't win. Shots were 34-19 in favor of the Raiders.

Ponies played without Hewes, their top Defender which makes it more impressive.

Just got home from our little out of town trip and was anxious to check the scores and the results of this week's contest. As already noted, Stillwater pulled the narrow one-goal upset and surprisingly the other 4 games were all decided by a single goal also. Nice to see such competitive hockey being played by the State's top teams.

Roseville 0, Stillwater 1
Eagan 2, Lakeville North 3
Lakeville South 2, Rosemount 1
Blaine 3, Coon Rapids 4
Edina 0, Minnetonka 1

There were just two correct scores on Saturday, but one of them determined this week's standings. TeamFirst predicted the Eagan-Lakeville North score which enabled him (or her) to just nudge out hockeyheaven by a single point. But kudos to hockeyheaven for getting all five winners right on Saturday, the only one to do so. laugh-N-allseason got the other correct score in Lakeville South's 2-1 win over Rosemount.

So here are the final standings for Week 11:

1. TeamFirst - 17 points (a remarkable 14 of 15 with 3 correct scores - great job!)
2. hockeyheaven - 16 (also just missed one game and got 2 correct scores - any other week hockeyheaven probably would have won)
3. Silent But Deadly - 14
sinbin - 14
5. laugh-N-allseason - 13
6. Four tied with 12 :(
10. Two tied with 11

Although a first place finish for the season is now out of reach for your friendly host, I am now more determined than ever to finish with a big win in the Week 12 finale!
