Right, just like 2007?hipcheck wrote:Rams are a mystery this year. They have moderate talent, and when they put out, they are a contender. When they just show up, they look like a #4 seed at best.
I think the Spuds are in the drivers seat now, and from Tuesdays game, they look good enough to win section 8AA without any trouble.
This year is nothing like 2007. First off, that year the Spuds were #1 for most of the year and the Rams were right behind them at #2. The rams lost 2 games all year and both were to the spuds but they were close losses. With all that said, if both of these teams make the section finals, Ness and Lee and company won't be walking out of locker room to play the game. Both teams are less talented than 2007.HockeyFan1 wrote:Right, just like 2007?hipcheck wrote:Rams are a mystery this year. They have moderate talent, and when they put out, they are a contender. My point is, in 2007 the Spuds were the favorite, and weren't expected to have any trouble getting past sections. That's why they play the game!warriors41 wrote:This year is nothing like 2007. Either way, Bemidji is gonna give Moorhead a lot of trouble in sections. I know its hard to finally say that there is a third team is contention but lets not forget them.
AGREED! Never count out Roseau. Way too much tradition and experience.Pucklvr wrote:Simply said, Roseau is down this year. It happens! You can't expect them to be a powerhouse every year! I don't think it helped that Roseau had a few key players out but, that is the game. I am not blaming that for their loss. Moorhead was simply the better team that night. Oh, I forgot.... I wouldn't count Roseau out just yet. It seems to me that Roseau is a "Tournament Team." They tend to get things done when they have to!
Tech just beat Roseau 4-2 last night. Makes it even harder to place Roseau. It's hard to imagine them being a 4th or even 5th seed in the section tourny but it might happen this yearPotatohead9 wrote:AGREED! Never count out Roseau. I think in Section 8AA seeded teams 1-4 (Bemidji, Moorhead, Roseau, Brainerd, and possibly Tech) theme will be who's HOT and who's NOT..... Having a heathly team would also help.
Not even close my friendRight, just like 2007?
