Whew! Empty netter seals it at 7-5 for TRF.
Go get 'em Friday afternoon, Thief!

or one team really was overrated all year based on last year?pacman wrote:That was an awesome Upset!
shows the maturity of the TRF mom, I know a bunch from section 8 that was on the TRF band wagon, but now we hope they get the beat down of there lives on Friday STA by 5 and I don't keep tabs on this but I haven;t seen a Warroad fan holding a sign up 7 out of the last 10 years to try a belittle a neighboring community, thought that only happened over in the arrow head regioneast hockey wrote:LOL...sign a lady fan at the game is holding says "How are things up north, Warroad?"

Not likely since the TRF goalie isn't that good. But then again strange things do happen.east hockey wrote:Whew! Empty netter seals it at 7-5 for TRF.

Get a grip...TRF has only been to state twice since 1956 or something and Warroad has been up there way more in the last 12 years. This was just showing how it was for them not getting to state and sitting at home while it was Warroad almost every year. Congrats to TRF on a good win.nungitchida wrote:shows the maturity of the TRF mom, I know a bunch from section 8 that was on the TRF band wagon, but now we hope they get the beat down of there lives on Friday STA by 5 and I don't keep tabs on this but I haven;t seen a Warroad fan holding a sign up 7 out of the last 10 years to try a belittle a neighboring community, thought that only happened over in the arrow head regioneast hockey wrote:LOL...sign a lady fan at the game is holding says "How are things up north, Warroad?"

They were the "Thieves" way back in the day.Kahuna wrote:Off topic but, was wondering, did the Thief River falls Prowlers use to have a different nickname? (If so what was it?)
If this years warroad team woulda had Brock Nelson, they woulda finally beat Breckhockeyfan893 wrote:If only this year's Thief River team had Gothberg in nets. That would've been a fun one to see.
Actually they had a sign just last year that said "get the clubs out early TRF". do your reasearchnungitchida wrote:shows the maturity of the TRF mom, I know a bunch from section 8 that was on the TRF band wagon, but now we hope they get the beat down of there lives on Friday STA by 5 and I don't keep tabs on this but I haven;t seen a Warroad fan holding a sign up 7 out of the last 10 years to try a belittle a neighboring community, thought that only happened over in the arrow head regioneast hockey wrote:LOL...sign a lady fan at the game is holding says "How are things up north, Warroad?"

TRF wouldn't of beaten STA but Koop shutout a hot Hibbing team while Narverud allowed 10 goals in 2 games.MNHockey75 wrote: Josh Koop NEEDS to start in goal for TRF on Friday if they want a chance to win. He's bigger and more consistant. It's probably not going to happen, so Narverud will most likely get yanked after it's 4-0 after one.
Probably some folks at Breck thinking similar what might have been thoughts. Their backup won the final two games after it was clear the starter would let in goals in bunches.MNHockey75 wrote:TRF wouldn't of beaten STA but Koop shutout a hot Hibbing team while Narverud allowed 10 goals in 2 games.MNHockey75 wrote: Josh Koop NEEDS to start in goal for TRF on Friday if they want a chance to win.
