I am on the Bauer selects 2000 and there is actually more behind the scenes stuff with the team than you may know. All of the kids on our team have played together for 2+ years.

Why did they play open ?? I thought NEEHS was invite/elite program????

98? looking at the site it looks like CCM Flyers ( MN ) beat Michigan Nationals in semi finals then Pacific Selects in finals or am I reading it wrong?

I saw a kid on that team this last Saturday... he was wearing his Nats sweatshirt. He had other tryouts this last weekend that kept him home. I know he's one of their higher end players - so maybe their top kids weren't able to make it to Chicago and they dropped down as a result.

Scratch that... I think he was a '97.

My 98 played for the Nats last year and Travis was the coach.
