The only nit picky thing I could say it that Parker left alot of rebounds out in front, but the defense did a great job clearing. In all fairness he did make some good saves too. Davidson's line, which appears to be a grind it out crash the net type line, saw a lot of playing time today, and Davidson even had a nice little slapper to make it 2-1. That depth is definitely going to help.

Best thing for East today is that they got scoring from all 4 lines, including just 2 from the top line. Course, the 4th line goal came during the 5 minute major, but . . .

Davidson is fun to watch. The kid gives 100% all the time out there with his hustle.

Its funny because we grew up two houses apart (he is a few years younger) and he was always smaller but boy he is fun to watch.

Minnetonka 4-2 Edina, near the end

Tonka's Michael Prochno with a slapper from the point, may have been tipped; assist to Rothstein

I remember a Rothstein from GRapids playing in the state tourney in the mid-1970s. Made an end-to-end rush with the puck, scoring as he was falling over. Classic. Still have that in my mind's eye!

I'm wondering this also. The Lettieri line for Tonka has been very quiet tonight.

They were some great players for sure.
I can't say for sure that the kid from Tonka is from that family, but I believe he is.
I haven't been around the area for 30 years.

Only first lines scoring for Tonka and Edina in this matchup. What are they going to do if they meet Duluth East in the Big One?
